My mom had stage 4 cancer a few years ago and has to rely on either drinking her protein or getting it from softer foods. I USED to purchase Kate Farms ALL the time for her, but they use Tera Pak and Tera Pak is horrible, they were always leaking and being spoiled from letting air into the packaging etc. I have been looking for a good healthy replacement with ZERO sucralose and aspartame for the past year that my mom ALSO says taste good. She seems to really love these. Kinda bummed they only come in 4 packs though! But, that's a manufacture thing and not a Walmart thing. My mom said they taste like Kate Farms (which has a really nice "fancy pants" chocolate milk taste to them haha) and it tastes more like dark chocolate than milk chocolate. She doesn't usually like Erythritol or Stevia but could not taste it in these drinks. What MOST companies do who actually CARE is they use higher grades of Stevia or Erythritol and these tend to taste better than lower grade. Anyway, will definitely get these again
Great taste and it's plant-based! This is really a great snack or a quick breakfast if you're on the go. Compared to some of the other plant-based proteins shakes it's not ready and does it separate, do I do recommend a good vigorous shake before you drink it. There's enough in the carton to make you feel satisfied. Very happy with this product very tasty, even my husband has drinking them when he's on the go
Tasty flavor and creamy texture.
I am glad that I got the product for half price. I know that healthy costs more but sometimes the cost can be ridiculous. The taste was fine but not great. I cheat and put a little chocolate syrup in it.
This is a really nice health food option. My body responds very well to it, so I will always buy it with a good coupon, rebate or sale. I like black licorice, but that as the end note is a clunk. I have tried all the flavors even the berries that was discontinued. Ironically, I liked that flavor best.
I'm surprised at the people who claim this tastes horrible, it is decent to good at least. I opened a cold one, smell was not appealing so i was slightly worried. But the taste surprised me, tastes much better then it smelled. The biggest difference was how different the texture was. I usually get premier protein drinks and they're thick from the gel stuff. These are closer to chocolate milk consistency, which I found very appealing. I also like that they don't shove a ridiculous amount of vitamins into it. (I take a multi and don't want to over do it) Deducting a star because i can only purchase them online, as they're not carried locally. They're also a bit pricier.
This is not the best protein shake I've ever had, but for a plant-based, non-dairy product, it's acceptable. It does have a bit of an aftertaste. However, I will buy it again.
I like the taste but u should ea better price on this item.
This product is very unsafe. My son had an anaphylactic reaction after drinking part of this. There is a peanut product in this, but it is not labeled. Please label correctly!!!
These taste terrible! I can't even describe the taste. Maybe if you're vegan and used to odd tastes you would like them, but I'm going to try to return them.
