Great Movie
My Husband loves this movie.

A classic -must own !
I saw this movie back in 1992 on the big screen.Joe Pesci is in top form here as a Brooklyn "lawyer" who heads south to Alabama to defend his young cousin ( Ralph Maccio,of Karate Kid fame) who is on trial for a murder he didn't commit.Marisa Tomei (in her Oscar winning role) is Pesci's long suffering girlfriend,along for the ride.The late great Fred Gwynne plays the grumpy judge that has little patience for the "lawyer"'s lack of knowledge of procedures in the courtroom.Lots of laughs throughout this one.My favorite scene is when Pesci the lawyer meets a guy wearing a neck brace at a bar.He asks the man what happened to him,andPesci is quite disappointed when the guy tells him he fell on his own property.This is a movie you can watch over and over and still laugh.It's a keeper,and a classic.

Extra Credit
I used this movie to receive extra credit for a class in Criminal Justice. The movie provides a "comical" yet EXTREMELY realistic way of discovering the truth.

#1 movie on my list
You can't go wrong with this movie. I have been watching over and over for years. People want to borrow it but, I won't let it go. Have the original package. This is a classic. It is a definite keeper.
