I'm usually quite good about reading the specific details about an item before purchase but I honestly thought this was only the first 12 episodes (part one) of season five. To my surprise, this contains all 25 episodes and also includes the slipcover. Great price for the entire fifth season. Worth it!
Its a Blu-ray that plays just fine.
love this series! was so excited to see it at Walmart.
1 season of MHA in one package, with bluray and DVD. Nice!!! Can't wait for season 6 Walmart Exclusive.
Although the item was recently released, it was a rather hard item to find in stores. It came in good conditions, and quickly.
only issue is that despite it being a Blu-ray Combo pack -- it was put into a Standard size DVD PKG instead of a Blu-ray sized case -- my other Seasons are in the Blu-ray case so now it'll look odd having it amongst the other Seasons %26 putting it in a smaller case doesn't work unless the season art is cut down to size
I Was Very Excited Knowing That Walmart would continue this Series of Affordable and Compact Boxsets but As You Can See They Have Abandoned the Blu Ray Box, Switching instead to a Dvd One Making it Look Bad on the Shelf. It's a Quality Box with No Stacked Discs (Blessing) and For the Collectors; Mine Came in Pristine Condition. It's Unfortunate That I'll Have to Either Cut This One (Slipcover) and Buy a Proper Blu Ray Case or Walmart May Continue this Style. Don't Know. This is still The BEST Way to Collect Physical Copies of My Hero Academia in Its Highest Quality and I Recommend it To Anyone Considering Buying Them Here On This Website. Thank You For Reading This Review! GOD BLESS:)
Doesn't look like the advertised picture. It was in a plastic case with the cover-picture behind plastic. It almost looks like a knockoff. The Blue Ray discs and DVDs are fine. I only watched the Blue Rays and they were good.
Happy to have the complete season 5 of MHA. But I hate that Crunchyroll added the DVDs and housed all the discs in a DVD Case. The previous Walmart Exclusive MHA's were just Blu Ray's 2 seasons in each set. Now they aren't uniformed since S5 is in a DVD Case. I really hope Crunchy goes back to Blu Ray's only for S6 next year
FIRST AND FOREMOST, if all you care about is owning MHA Season 5, this is the cheapest and best way to do so. As a physical media collector, I do have some complaints though. As far as content is concerned, I believe that it's safe to assume that the discs contain the exact same content as the Part 1 and 2 releases. This season (mostly just the Class 1A vs 1B Arc) is a weaker moment in the series, but is by no means bad. This is where I take a star off in my review. Now, the main reason I wanted to write this review was to express my disappointment in the packaging for this release. I was expecting this to essentially be a repackage of the Part 1 and 2 releases, but with a slipcover over the two individual cases to keep them together. Instead, all eight discs (4 Blu, 4 DVD) come in a single, DVD size case. Since it's so tall, it sticks out like a sore thumb in my collection. I don't know why they did this, considering it's a Blu-ray set, and they make Blu-ray cases that hold eight discs. Thankfully, the case itself does have individual hubs for each disc, with no stacking, as well as some nice reversible art on the inside. This also took ages to get a compiled set, which was really frustrating, as previous seasons would get a complete set of just the Blu-rays about a year after each Part 2 set released. I prefered those much more, so I was disappointed that this was different. For those reasons, I took off another star. Overall, if the season is what you want, it is indeed what you get, but if you're picky about your collection like I am, you may be slightly annoyed. I do recommend it.
