Solid wood work. Sturdy too.
I got it to keep often used condiments like salt/pepper, various sauces on the table in one location. However, I will look for a smaller tray as I think this one might be too large.

Love My Texas House
Bought this for coffee table, and really liked it but it didn't go well with our decor so I returned. It's well made, and crafted well.

Bad shipping so it's damaged
This would be a beautiful piece; however Walmart did a horrible job shipping it and it's cracked on the side and middle of the piece. I'm going to have to return it. I wish they would carry more of this line in more of their stores so I can go in and get it myself. This is not the first time Walmart has just shoved MTH stuff in a bag or box and it's come damaged.

advertised as a "4 count"; only 1 received. item sticker, placed in the middle of the tray pulled some of the finish off.

The tray is lopsided, does not sit flat. The design is nice but some outer ridges are different than the rest. Very disappointed.
