My Texas House Alamo Skirted Ottoman, Taupe Fabric

Wow! This skirted ottoman is bigger than expected and love the neutral color. The upholstery seems to be well constructed durable and color goes with almost any style. The price is very reasonable and would consider buying again. It is very sturdy and heavy so not to fall apart when sat on or moved around. The best part is that it has storage! Very convenient for a grandparent or parent to hide toys!

This storage ottoman has high quality hardware inside that makes opening it a breeze. The aesthetic is also much more expensive looking than what it is and it works great in my nursery with my rocker! I only wish it was a performance fabric so I didn't have to worry about putting on a fabric protector myself as I know it will get dirty.

I was skeptical ordering this ottoman online but thay was foolish! I was nervous about the gingham being crooked — theres so many corners and lines, it seemed inevitable that there would be some wacky lines. But 98 percent of the lines and seems were perfect! Details like these lines are what make this ottoman look and feel like a very high end piece! The ottoman itslef is larger than I expected (thats on me for not pulling out the tape measurer) and it has a lot of space for storage. Making it easy to hold multiple pillows or blankets. Overall, I am super impressed by this piece and I plan to explore others in the collection.

This ottomon is a very functional piece I would highly recommend to add to your home. The color is a more natural/neutral color which will go with many items. I will note that it is a little lighter in person then what it looks like on the website. It is quality made and the skirt adds a bit of extra character. There is a lot of room for storage. I folded one blanket to show you the space it takes up. I can easily get six folded or rolled blankets in here. There are four plastic pads on the bottom to keep from scratching the floor if you place on a no carpeted floor. The hinge on the back is very well hidden.

This is a lovely, traditional ottoman with the cleanest, crisped lines, and just so elegant in this white. I got this both as a classic piece but also a storage solution for my blankets. The storage has a small vent in the bottom so items don't get musty. The material and overall construction is really quite fabulous for the price point. My only concern is keeping it clean!

I absolutely adore the print and color of this gingham skirted ottoman! It blends in well with our decor, and is both timeless and functional. It's large enough to hold two larger pillows and a throw blanket, and I had room to fit more if needed! It's very sturdy and feels high quality. Both of my kids (ages 6 and 8) sat together on it while watching tv! Highly recommend!

I always need extra storage space and this ottoman serves the trick. It is a very neutral color and I consider it more of a light cream color than taupe. It has the classic skirt design and would look good with many decor styles. It's light enough to move from room to room and can be used for extra seating, but I'm using it to store extra pillows and blankets in my bedroom. It is square and measures 21.5" x 21.5" x 19" H. It can also be used as a small coffee table. I also like that the lid stays up when opened.

I have gotten other pieces from My Texas house collection and was always pleased with quality of their items. So when I saw this beautiful ottoman I did not hesitate. It definitely exceeded my expectations. This is a very well built piece of furniture. Skirted pleated design makes it look so sophisticated and high end. It's a beautiful creamy taupe color, fits in any room of my house. Cushion on top is very substantial and comfortable. I love storage that it provides, I stored multiple thick blankets in it and there is still room more. Looks beautiful styled with a tray on top. Love!

I'm obsessed with this storage ottoman, it's gorgeous! It looks handmade and fits my homes Transitional/Traditional style perfectly. The fact that it's a storage piece takes it above and beyond. I'm using it in a small reading nook in my bedroom, where I can store extra sheets and blankets inside. It's easy to open and feels like it has a large amount of storage capacity inside. All in all, this was an excellent buy!

I love the size of this ottoman. It's actually quite large and can also be used as a coffee table in a smaller space. There's so much room inside for you to store junk or anything, especially when you know someone's visiting and you have to get rid of it right away. The fabric style is so old-school and fun and the ottoman is not very heavy even though it's made of wood .
