My Texas House Haven 5-Shelf Bookcase, Warm Brown Finish

If you are on the fence about buying the shelves, do it! I never leave reviews unless something exceeds my expectations or is terrible. And I love these. The boxes had a little bit of damage on them, but the packaging was so well done that nothing was chipped or broken inside. But the boxes are massive so you might need two people to move them. Assembly was super easy and straightforward. It took my husband and I to put together two, I think in four hours. It sounds like a lot, but it's not. I was able to stack my books too deep. And arrange the shelves so that you could see behind. I even use the packaging for book risers. They are so sturdy and sleek and the bars give it an extra bit of character. I have been looking for something like this for a long time. I really hope to see more furniture from this line and in this color. 10/10!

The drawers are smooth but have some catch when you first open to ensure they don't accidentally open. The smooth outer finish feels nice to the touch. However the front ridged texture gives this a good look and feel. Would go great with the similar nightstand

I love the color of this shelf and the stylish metal accents. It's very spacious with 5 shelves, offering plenty of room for anything you want to store. I especially like that 3 of the shelves are adjustable, making it easy to display books or decor. It adds a nice mid-century touch to the space.

Absolutely beautiful and sturdy bookcase! I gave assembly four stars just because it took a long time and there were a lot of pieces. Certain steps were a two person job as the pieces are quite heavy. I would 100% do it over again tho for the result. I've already gotten many compliments on it.

It's so sturdy and durable and would easily fit many books and decor! It's a modern yet elegant design that could easily be used in a variety of styles of home!

I really like this book shelf. It very nice and very sturdy. I love how wide the shelves are I wouldn't have to worry if a book is to big. I like that I can use it for anything not only books. I can stack like family games and photos albums and many more. I live that I can adjust the shelves. The wood is really nice.

I also love how much room the shelves have, you could fit so many books or anything else you'd want to put on it easily. Absolutely beautiful Bookcase! Easy to assemble, took 2 people about 1 1/2 hr. The shelves are deep and the height is the perfect size to fill a wall. Love the warm tone of the wood and the book rails make it unique and interesting. A great value for a quality piece of furniture. I'm a big fan of the ‘My Texas House' line of home furniture and decor. Keep it coming!

Elegant and stylish. The Texas house haven bookshelf give a mid-century look without the exorbitant pricetag. The sturdy construction and the brass bars across the front of each shelf adds that extra bit of character we are looking for. The flush finish on each side makes me think I could place several together to cover a whole wall to create that private library look.

It looks like a nice piece of furniture, but the offgassing smell from it is really bad. We've had it for about a month now I think. And I still can't stand to be in the same room without the window open. I don't think I would buy any more furniture from this brand, made with toxic chemicals.
