the tabs are plastic but they're cheaper than the steel ones and I can get five in each one or whatever four or five if you take it easy with a mission be a problem if you need to take them out and look through them just push the tabs back in that would probably be the best way so you don't crack them and I like the idea that you can place the label anywhere you want it along the top of the file it's pretty cool. well my records have always been a mess so I've got my work cut out for me. if I need more I'll buy them again they're nice.

The wife laughed outloud when she got these and said she could remember when they were paper-cardboard construction and the corners wore out and the glue let loose! These are sturdy plastic but can expand easily and there's no chance of them falling apart or wearing out.

these are large and sturdy, they jold an extremely large amount paperwork, i am very satisfied with this purchase do much so that I bought another set. I wish it would come with more than 5 per package.

Good value for the money

These are not what I expected. I expected paper accordion hanging files.these plastic ones don’t expand as far as the paper ones do. When they expand out, they catch in the hanging file system.

Could improve on quality of material used making the folders. They are handy and useful for larger file needs but over long periods of time (greater than a few years, the folder material tends to weaken and deteriorate.

didnt expand much. helps with filing papers with small pieces /pictures/business cards, etc though. expanding it made me feel like it was going to put cracks in the product.

The plastic materials are sturdy. My issue is that the plastic hooks which you would use to hang this file folder are apparently retractable so if they bump anything, they slide in. Also because it is not a solid piece of metal across the folder there is not the stability of a traditional hanging file, which is necessary for these expanding pockets. If I had noticed this before purchasing I would not have bought. I also did not start trying to use until after 30 days from delivery or I would have returned them.

The files are pretty flimsy plastic and the black tabs feel like they will break. Going to try them anyway hoping they will last until the end of the fiscal year.
