I can plug anything into it, and it will shut off after six hours. It's easy to store when not in use due to the compact size. Very well made.

I have some path lights in the front of my house that I plugged into this timer and now they automatically turn on and off. The timer plugs into the outlet and the lights plug directly into the timer. Simple plug-and-go option for automating my exterior illumination.

This works great for us for we wont have to worry about connecting it and turning off, it programs on its own auto on at Dusk light sensing 6 hours. The best part is when we are out with guest and the lights turn on their own The kids gets so amazed. This will be great for holidays as well to connect our christmas lights. Very easy to use just plug in your lights and mount it anywhere and watch your lights turn on on their own Gonna save you time and money.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought about this about three weeks ago,to put on my bug zapper out side. With the weather warmer than usual I could use the zapper now. Thought I would use this timer on it to save me from going outside all the time to turn it on and off. It great when the sun goes down the zapper comes on, and when the sun comes up it turns off. Love this, now I don't have to keep running in and out. The only thing is to make sure the sensor is in the right position. Works great.

It needs a 3 prong outlet and is weather resistant. The only thing that would make this perfect for me is to have a duel outlet so I can plug two items in.

Just plug it into the timer and it's all taken care of for you. Wonderful for my outdoor pergola lights I usually go outside and have to manually turn them off or on. Now my pergola lights will come on and turn off all on their on. Very easy process.Perfect for yard lights, Christmas lights,etc. This is much better then a timer I have for my pool water to come on daily. I have to pull out colored tabs to move all over the dial( what a pain to do)
