The two surfaces have different degrees of coarseness, which work well for me. I use the rougher side most of the time, as it works better than older files I still own. Sturdy, and easy to hold.
finally a nail gole tha stays sharp. I use one for my feet and one for my nails. they don't bend and the handel doesn't break like the plastic ones. I rinse them off with alcohol and put them back in the case.
Love these so much! Have the perfect amount of grip and point on the tips.

I have always favored the metal nail files to the emery boards. to me they are easier to use, %26 do a nicer, %26 cleaner job
Well, they're nail files. They weren't expensive, there are two of them, and they do a good job.
These files are very coarse and should not be used on natural nails.
i ordered two files, one short and one long. after several weeks, they sent the short one only. But they say they were both delivered.
