Breaking my ankle was bad enough …using crutches was terrible. I was recommended a cart on wheels and found this. I used it in my house and wherever I went. It was light enough that my wife could pick up and put in car. Best purchase ever.
the smaller wheels are very helpful. it could use one more screw hole to make knee cushion lower for short people.
Easy to assemble and definitely worth to get for foot/ankle surgery when not able to walk on it. The only disadvantage is that it doesn't fold to transport.
This device was exactly what was needed to assist my cousin to safely move around her apartment.
It has been a great product, I recommend it.
It was made of excellent quality and had a smooth ride; however, it was too tall for me, so I wouldn't advise anyone shorter than 5ft getting it.
I had a broken ankle and surgery to insert a metal plate. This arrived quickly and worked as expected. I recommend buying a padded seat cover. The 'seat' is rigid and with extended use it can be a little hard on the knee. The basket is very handy. It has good stabilizing brakes which I set when I was stopped, and as a result I was confident it wouldn't move away from me. Generally, it's comfortable and easy to use. It is SO much better than a walker or crutches. It really provides mobility.
seat curve doesnt match where knee naturally sits, so you may get a new bruise or sore spots. Was a little complicated to assemble and doesnt really fold down small enough to come in the car easily. The folding process is also very difficult if you cant stand on your foot to bend to the floor to unclip it. it rolls which is good but its mid tier.
All the parts become loose after about a week of use and feels very unstable. I only use it at my desk job too. On crutches other times.
The scooter handle bar steering stop was broken and deemed unsafe. The spot well didn't appear to be suitable for this application and a bead weld would be stronger overall.
