This is improved from the old days of hair removal. The cream is very smooth, and if left on for the full time it works really well. You have to be sure to wipe the cream off hard enough to remove the hair or you will have to do it over again. Leaves your skin smooth and not at all dry.
I'm recovering from a total hip replacement and am not able to bend past my waist right now. My legs were getting quite hairy and I didn't feel comfortable asking my husband or son to shave my legs for me. I found this product on the Walmart website and thought I would give it a try . I applied it with my long handled sponge and I couldn't be happier with the results! I put it on, waited five minutes and wiped it off . Wow, nice smooth, hairless legs !! The odor was not offensive at all. I'm thinking about continuing to use this even when I'm able to shave again. Great product ! Would definiately recommend.
Unlike oh so many products we find, either on the net or at any store, how many times do you come home, use the product and discover it just wasn't as expected, as promised or even what you heard about it. For me, I can't even count that high. I was skeptical about this product, especially after reading the reviews (I always read them in the order of lowest rating to highest). I lathered from my ankles to the very tops of my leg; I even did under my arms and the bikini area. I did wait 15 minutes instead of the recommended 10. I got into the shower with a terry facecloth and began to wipe away. I was amazed! I didn't have to rub hard; I didn't have to rub twice. This product took all the hair away and I never got that talked about after-shaving-rash. All areas were completely smooth. That was a week ago. I just may have to repeat the process tomorrow. I am impressed!
A trusted product that I have used for years. I don't know why most stores have stopped carrying it.
Nair Hair Remover Lotion in style, Softening Baby Oil, has been the best hair removal product for my sensitive skin. I have tried the Coconut and will use it if I absolutely have to, but this one works best for me BECAUSE I can leave it on for the amount of time indicated. I have very senstitive skin and am allergic to everything except air. This truly removes all the hair including dense or thick hair. It passes the Goose Bump test. I have never experienced any thickening of hair, or additional and unwanted hair growth from this product. It leaves your skin incredibly soft, with tons of remarks from other people about how great my skin feels to them and how great it looks... moisturized. In my case, I can wait 5 days or much more before needing to reapply. Depends on the weather. I wet my skin with warm water and rub the hair with warm water. Then I dry my skin. Then apply a film of it to the areas you want hair free. Wait 3-5 minutes (I wait 3 minutes). Gently wipe off with a soft, warm cloth. Then pat dry. HOWEVER... my key is to take a 10 minute, nice warm shower, and gently move my hands over the areas I have used Nair on. THEN pat dry. Because I have sensitive skin, I do not directlt apply additional lotions. I wait a day for that. Give my skin a break. **Nair does have other formulas for other body parts. One for face. One for bikini area. Both work well, and I would NOT use this particular formula in PLACE OF face and/or bikini formula. Different skin thickness on different parts of your body.
I'm due to have knee replacement surgery, and will be unable to shave for a bit. Because I'm neurotic and shave daily, not shaving would make me nutty. I've used this product before, and it provides a couple days of hair-free skin. I have no issues with redness or irritation. It's not as smelly as it was back in the 70's or 80's. goes on smooth and washes off easily.
Ya'll when I tell y'all this works, IT WORKS!!! Waxing was a nightmare for me i ended up with strawberry legs that i'm convinced you cannot get rid of no matter what you try :( It doesn't take long to work, and you're skin is super super soft!!! I love it. The only thing is if you leave it on more than 10 minutes you will have burn but I fix that with aloe vera and Vaseline and after a day or two it's fine.
I love this product. I've used it for many years and the smell has improved greatly. Nair is very easy to use and doesn't take long to work.
The hair remover does what it's meant to do. It doesn't irritate the skin %26 feels pretty moisturizing. Only wish the results would be longer lasting.
Okay so I'm 50/50 on this product. I have super sensitive skin and was so scared of all the reviews that said they got chemical burns cause I'm literally that 1% of people that the chances ALWAYS happen to them. But I have a lot of peach fuzz all over my body and was ready to try anything (besides shaving) to get rid of it. So I made absolute sure to NOT rub this in. Like literally using the gentlest strokes to apply this, and never going back over to make sure to not rub it in. And I think that is definitely the key. Because voila! I didn't have any burning/bad reactions! And my peach fuzz came right off (literally only 3 mins on every part of my body - arms, legs, butt, back - even my hands!). And my skin was SO smooth, I was certain this was a miracle product. Until about 4-5 days later when BAM! I BROKE OUT ALL OVER MY BACK AND BUTT. Yes, the dreaded body acne. I've never had body acne my whole life besides the occasional pimple. So I know this was from the Nair cause I didn't change anything else. So, I will probably only use this on my arms in the future cause what's the point of being hairless if that's just replaced with pimples??? Ugh! So sad this wasn't my miracle product, but please BEWARE and don't use this if you have an event and only try it out if you'll be able to cover yourself up for a few weeks until the acne goes away. But you can at least see the before and after of my arm!
