Nanit Pro Complete Baby Monitoring System with HD Camera & Wall Mount

Shower gift for daughter. Gave one to daughter in law and she loves it. Has two, one for each child. When I visit, I can use the app on my phone to see and hear my granddaughter. Her mom can check on her too. Perfect and easy to use.

Love being able to see my LO from anywhere and sharing access with grandma and grandpa. Also from what I can tell this is oneof the only baby monitors that has multi-factor authentication to keep your account safe. I work in IT and this is the #1 thing you need to do and none of the competitors (like Owlet or Miku) seemed to have it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing is loaded with features! I have never seen such a feature packed baby monitor before. I'm not even sure I should call it that due to how amazing it is. The Nanit will measure your babies length, monitor their breathing, tell you how much sleep they got, play sounds, has a built in nightlight, will tell you the room temperature, plus show you video clips of waking times on top of having live viewing with audio. I received this product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel at the perfect time as my baby had recently gotten sick and was having trouble with clogged sinuses and having a breathing monitor with alarms is a great piece of mind. The app is so easy to use and just simply works. I would recommend this to anybody with a baby!

All I can say is; I've become more and more impressed with this system daily. This product is a game changer. I wish it was around 4 years ago when we brought our first daughter home from the hospital. For first time parents this system is a no brainer. I vividly remember being so nervous the first time we put our daughter down at home for bed. If we had this monitor worries would have been mitigated and we wouldn't have woken her up so many times checking in to make sure she was okay. The Nanit Pro was so easy to set up because of the detailed instructions and the prompts from the app. I had it up and running in less than 10 minutes. The picture on this monitor is incredible, no more blurry visuals in low light conditions. I also really like the sleep tracking and push notifications as it makes it easy to monitor the baby's rest which helps for setting up sleep routines or scheduling feedings with infants. You can tell Nanit has thought of everything. The wall mounting system is well engineered with a built in level and safety striping for cords which eliminates risk of hanging cords. Not only can you wall mount this system but you can easily remove the monitor component and place it on a stand which is great for when we travel. My wife and I have had our share of frustrations with different types of monitors and gadgets when it comes to raising our three children but we are both extremely impressed with this system. I honestly only have positive feedback for the Nanit Pro.

This is easily one of the best baby monitors I have ver used. The HD video is crystal clear and I love the positioning directly over the crib as opposed to from a wall mount. The app is very user friendly and has a ton of features that are a plus. I like the convenience of being able to check in on the baby when I am not home, however I do wish the system came with a physical monitor you could also use rather then just your phone.

Everything is very high quality and the monitor works great! It's easy to set up and use. The monitor is a bit sensitive at first, however you can adjust it to your preferences which is really nice. While it comes with a portable stand and the wall mount, I do wish that the floor stand was included. Overall, we've been very pleased with this purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This monitor is incredible! The picture and audio quality are far superior to any other monitor I've used in the past. I love the temperature, humidity, and indication of the time last updated that appear on the live camera view. I am able to set the sensitivity of the motion and sound sensors - and the sensitivity levels work perfectly! The insights feature is really cutting edge. It is unbelievably helpful seeing when my daughter woke throughout the night and put herself back to sleep. I've learned she wakes fairly often but will just lay there quietly. I never would have known without this feature. It's also helpful to see her sleep statistics and patterns over time. I feel like I'm getting a very complete picture of my daughter's sleep cycles and can use that data to inform decisions throughout her day. I found the Nanit App very user friendly and easy to set up and go. Navigating the app is also seamless. I love having the various bases for the camera, especially for travel purposes. The only reason I didn't give this product 5 stars is because I'm unable to use the breathing band and the growth tracking sheet. My daughter was already too big for the breathing band (the package comes with a newborn size only) and we currently use a mini-crib which isn't the right size for the sheet. However, I'm looking forward to using the sheet in the future when we move her to a full size crib! Overall, this monitor is certainly worth the price tag. The data you can gather about your child's sleep habits is priceless and the quality of the monitor itself is unmatched. I will be recommending this to new and seasoned parents! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Nanit Pro monitor is not my first baby monitor. Nor is it my second. There's a LOT of functionality included, some of which is exclusive to the Nanit. First, setup of both the app and the monitor itself was quite simple. The instructions for setting everything up were quite thorough, but honestly it was so intuitive that they weren't even really necessary. Extra credit there. Getting logged into the app and syncing with the camera was a total breeze. Once you've got the camera mounted (or on a stand), you can be fully configured in minutes. The app itself is pretty smooth. Overall it seems well-designed and is extremely thorough. You can measure your baby with the included blanket, set up notifications for when they wake up or make noise, and most importantly, configure sensitivity levels for those notifications and disable them entirely if need be. That's great! It's worth noting that I haven't had a single real app issue with the Nanit, which isn't something I can say about another premium product that I've used. Kudos to the Nanit team for that! Having to re-pair a device is never fun, and so far the Nanit is rock-solid. My main, and only real complaint with the device comes from Nanit Insights. Even the "Basic" Insights program costs money, but in my opinion, the features that it provides should be part of the basic functionality of the device. I understand that providing the infrastructure for the device isn't free, the device will be a lot less helpful once the trial subscription runs out in a year and it no longer provides video history over the past two days. This video history showing when your baby falls asleep, stirs, or wakes up in my opinion is the single greatest feature of the Nanit, and it's a shame that it's locked behind a paywall. It is a worthwhile purchase in my opinion for anybody looking for a smartphone-linked camera to watch your child while they sleep!

The app makes is very convenient to check on baby wherever we are in the house, even outside. This makes it very convenient to check in even when we are out by the pool. The only downside is being able to check on baby during the nighttime - I like having a monitor as well so I don't have to open a phone. I would've loved this to have both. The video quality is great and all the features in the app are exactly what I would want. You can even speak to baby through the app. The sheet is very good quality just on its own and the fact that you can measure baby with it is really an added bonus! Wish we had this technology when baby was first born! My favorite thing about the monitor, and this kit in particular, was that it came with the mounting hardware to attach it to the wall (with guards to keep wire safe) as well as a stand where you can move the monitor around the house easily. This makes it super easy to bring it around with you if baby falls asleep in the pack n play or regular crib etc. This is a great feature as baby gets older to keep an eye on kids in a playroom as well. It makes it so easy to bring it on vacation or to granparents house as well. Overall, a great system! Thanks to the Stellar Product Panel for letting me try this out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are several things that I really like about this monitor, but I don't think that I would be able to justify the price tag given what I didn't like. For reference, my baby was 12 months old when we received this so I may have aged out of some of the benefits and I couldn't use the included breathing band because it was sized for a 0-3 month baby. Pros: - HD camera does a great job in the light or the dark, you can see so much detail, it's really impressive - this monitor is transportable and can be used away from home - the audio is crystal clear - the insights feature is pretty cool, I like knowing how long my baby sleeps and when he wakes up to try to see a pattern and improve all of our sleep - I like that you can choose to receive no notifications, only receive notifications when something changes (ie, movement), or can use your phone to constantly stream the monitor - the monitor measures the temperature and humidity in the room. Our bedrooms are on a sublevel so I'm always worried that their room is too cold, I like that this helps ease that concern Cons: - installation was much more challenging than I anticipated. The provided anchors seemed too small for the 3/16th drilled holes and one broke off in the wall. Now that it's installed it isn't too bad. I think I might prefer the stand to the wall mount but that comes at additional cost. - there is a delay to the feed. My house is small enough that I can hear loud crying, so it was very obvious that what was coming through the phone was a little behind - although I have a mesh wifi system with good coverage in the kids room this monitor seemed to have a less than ideal connection, which may have contributed to the delays - I wanted to use this monitor for both of my kids, but you have to use the wall mount to use insights, so it's kind of one or the other - for the price it would be nice if it had something you could use as the consistent monitor other than your phone. Although they say it will be compatible with the Google Nest soon it isn't yet, but that would also be a nice option. I was given this item to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.
