This powder is finely milled for a purpose so that it looks flawless on top of luminous when applied. If you get a black tipped brush you can easily see product is on it but it's not meant to go heavy when applied but to apply it more effortlessly with less product and it applies so smoothly with no texture. You can brighten and set your under eyes and your T zone more flawlessly unlike ever before. This is an outstanding luminous powder when you understand how it's truly suppose to be applied. If you lightly tap your brush unto it you will get more than enough product to work on your face. You don't have to push into it. The product is there. I love it and hope you do it finely milled like this in a banana shade as well in the future.
Love this! Wish the container was larger i tried it alone and its perfect for immediate coverage and not heavy on my face. The color just blends in perfectly. Havent tried over foundation yet because i had to return the foundation and Im glad because it led me to discover the gem in wearing this powder alone.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The powder is super fine and doesn't cake at all. The blurring effect is clearly noticeable once applied. It does take a little extra pressure or a few more swipes for the finish to really show up, but the overall look is beautiful.
I've wanted this for so long and decided to treat myself for Christmas. The powder is weightless, and the finish is like nothing I've seen before. Makes my skin look smooth and luminous without adding color or texture. Doesn't settle into fine lines, minimizes pores and keeps away shine for hours.
This powder blows my mind, I was afraid about the white color (I am medium-tan skin tone) but this is just perfection all over but specifically for my dry under eyes. No white cast, great luminosity (no glitter) and super fine powder. I am so impressed with this that it is going to be a basic for my make up routine
I've finally found my ride or die setting powder for underneath my eyes. I have mature dry skin, and I have a drawer full of powders that were full of promises they couldn't keep. This powder is very light, doesn't settle into my fine lines, but actually sets my concealer, even better, no more raccoon eyes from my liner or shadow smudging. It's great for setting the whole face as well, and I use the loose version for that. Definitely an investment worth making.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] #sweepstakes This powder has changed the game for my glowy makeup looks! I adore the Light Reflecting Foundation, but I didn't have a powder that didn't mattify my foundation. This powder sets and blurs makeup while giving a healthy looking glow. Since incorporating it in my glowy skin routine, I've gotten so many compliments on my skin including being told I have "glass skin." I'm so happy I made this purchase!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First time using a setting powder and it definitely makes a difference. My makeup stays exactly how its starts through the entire day!
Love that this powder gives my face a slight shimmer, not too glittery or iridescent. The applicator it comes with is paper thin so I use a brush for application.
I haven't been able to find much Nars Soft Velvet powder anywhere. Please do not discontinue it! I've tried the light reflecting powder in pressed and loose, both are terrible... they do not set makeup. Face feels heavy after applying and the flashback is bad. I don't want to leave you nars, but I just might have to. :(
