NARS Lipstick - Ravishing Red (Matte) 3.5g/0.12oz

I was unsure what to expect from a sheer lipstick, but this is gorgeous. I got Dolce Vita and the shade matches Orgasm blush very well. The sheer formulation applies the color in a way that has a silky sparkle to it, looking almost like lip gloss. Basically, you get the lush dimensional look of lip gloss without any stickiness or unwelcome transfer. It's a great price for a high end product!

I love Nars because it's so creamy. Most lipsticks are too dry for me, but Nars (not matte colors) is fantastic. But, I wish they would bring back some of my favorite shades. Falbala was my absolute favorite!

I've worn this lipstick around the house just doing my thing (thanks covid), and somehow I'm almost out already. It makes me feel myself and give me confidence to do my dishes!

I only wear two brands of lipstick, Dior and NARS... Something about the way NARS lipsticks are formulated is magical. Beautiful colors, lasts long, and perfection in either matte or gloss... I love NARS lip makeup!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The lipstick itself is of good quality both in formula and in color payoff. This is my first NARS product and I have been looking for a good color to wear as a daily lip that won't cause more dryness on my skin and stays on for a good part of the day. The product does this, and though the color isn't totally a match for me (was inspired by Taylor Swift using it!) with some light blotting to take a hint of the orange down, it worked fairly well. The formula is very soft and it has almost no scent to it, which is always a plus for me. I want to note that Morocco, the color I purchased, is absolutely not what you see depicted online! I saw everything from oranges to cinnamon to reddish brown. The color is mostly orange in person but not a violent, neon orange. Disappointing to find that this color was nowhere to be found in stores to test prior to buying, and I wish companies like NARS had the option to buy tiny sample size products to test because I'd have not purchased the color if I'd had that option. It works on me well enough but nothing I would purposely buy again, color-wise. My product arrived packed 'okay' and I can blame the outer box damage on FedEx, however the whole lipstick fell out of the tube when I uncapped it. I'm not sure if this is an issue from the factory or from the cold temperatures we have experienced recently, but it's worth mentioning as it is an expensive product.

Now that you ask, I love this product as I have used it for years. Hence the disappointment when I could no longer get get it in stores. I was happy to find it online hence the order of 2 of the same. However, not sure it it's the change in container as it used to come in a black container, not the red one, it doesn't stay in the container. The whole lipstick falls out and if not careful, it can drop to the floor or mess up your clothes trying to catch it. I have kept the both coz I love the colour and couldn't do without for my birthday but please look into this coz it falls out easily which should not be the case.

The lipstick came out of holder the first time used it. Not sure what happened but the lipstick keeps falling out of the holder when try to use it. Can we get it exchanged somewhere. Please advise.
