As a makeup artist, the NARS Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation has become one of my absolute go-to's. I use it on all my clients because it blends like a dream and leaves the skin looking flawless without feeling heavy. It has amazing coverage while still looking natural, and it wears beautifully throughout the day without separating or creasing. It photographs so well, which makes it a must-have for bridal and special events. I truly love this foundation-it's a staple in my kit!
As a headshot photographers makeup artist I utilize my foundations for base highlight and lowlight and the final results are soft dewy and photograph flawlessly
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great natural looking foundation that matches my skin color and stays on beautifully without settling into creases.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a makeup artist, this foundation truly delivers. It provides excellent coverage while remaining lightweight and breathable. It blends effortlessly, photographs beautifully, and holds up well throughout the day without creasing or caking. Perfect for both everyday wear and special occasions. #sweepstakes
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] An amazing foundation that feels and looks like liquid gold on my skin. No need for a large amount of product because it's so rich and dense. My favorite foundation by a mile!
I only wore the product one because the shade was too dark and I had to return it. However, I did like the feel and look of the foundation very much and will purchase again when I visit a store selling Nars.
I was just curious how people like this foundation, and I was shocked to see that the first page was full of..unsatisfactory comments. I guess then I can share my experience with this foundation. On its own, without any primer or moisturizer, it really literally provides zero coverage and does sink into my pores, but then I have dry skin, white heads (they don't pop unless I put foundation on, it's not a big problem) and some discoloration. However, if I prep my skin the night before with an intensive moisturizing mask, and put on essence and cream to make my skin ready for makeup application, with the help of "a primer that corrects my skin tone and works well with other cosmetic products", then this foundation will look really good. As I am not into full coverage or cakey makeup, I will have to say something good about this foundation: 1. I have yellow/reddish undertone at the same time, I'm between Oslo and Deauville, but any color within this range works great on my skin, although Gobi would match me the best, but like today I put on Oslo (with makeup application involving steps described above), I don't look like a geisha at all. 2. Overtime, it does look more natural on your skin, and if I don't scratch my face, it sits really well still after 8 hours of work. 3. The price range is alright, considering this to be a product sold in department stores. 4. The range of colors offered is amazing. Like I said, I have yellow and reddish skin undertone, and I can find my best match here. Usually with other foundation, it's either too red or too yellow. All and all, I will only recommend this foundation for people for have normal skin, and nearly perfect skin. It does not go well under eyes, but won't crease on my face either.
It wasn't what I expected.... here's why.... I thought the Matte marquises would be the same tone as the marquises radiant longwear foundation.. Wronggg!!! The longwear undertone is too red very different from the Matte. I had to make it work and mix it with the much lighter foundation samples they sent me.
Bought this foundation couple months ago and kept using it to see if it would get any better with usage. Unfortunately, all it does is make my skin look incredibly cakey and highlights an spots or pores i have. I have oily skin so thought this would be great but it isn't.
I purchased four of these foundations of my MUA kit, as I heard really great things about it. I've used this on myself (oily) and my clients who are normal and dry skins. Please note:- THIS IS NOT SUITABLE FOR ALL SKIN TYPES, as claimed. No matter what skin type I've put this on, it looks terrible and doesnt sit well on the skin at all. It's a 100% no go for oily skin and it moves very easily on other skin types. even with primers, setting powders and setting sprays. I have applied this with my fingers, sponges and brushes and nothing works. I feel I've wasted my money massively on this and wont be purchasing again. I'm sticking to sheer glow, it's SO much better.
