The NARS Powermatte lipstick is bold, lightweight, and surprisingly comfortable for a matte. It gives rich colour in one swipe and lasts around 6–7 hours, though food will cause some fading. It's less drying than most mattes but works best on prepped lips. Pricey, but perfect for when you want a strong, confident look with minimal touch-ups.

I love the way this lipstick goes on almost in a satin texture and gently dries down to matte. Also it feels very lightweight on the lips which I know is a bizarre description but I like the feeling of I have nothing on my lips. This is also a longwear kind-of-lipstick which I love, love, love. All around good staple in the make-up bag

I bought this in the shade free bird. I was impressed with the longevity claims of this. However it doesn't last that long. I'd say if I apply in the morning by lunch time I do need to reapply. It leaves a bit of colour but it needs the top up to achieve the full colour. The lipstick does apply beautifully and is rich creamy and moisturising. The Matt finish is really nice. Doesn't look dry at all. The shade free bird is a peach coral it's not too bright it's more of a dark peach. I'd buy again and try other colours. But I'm just slightly disappointed that it doesn't last as long. My hunt for the everlasting all day lipstick will continue.
