I ordered phantom and I received earthshine, is that the replacement color ? They don't look like the same color. The order came quickly in nice packaging

I love to layer this shadow on top of a stick eyeshadow, the glitter sticks perfectly, looks incredible and adds a touch of subtle color as well. No fallout and lasts all day.

This shadow was good however, I was a little bit disappointed with the limited selection of eye shadows and blushes on the website. None of the glittery eye shadows I had seen in stores were available, such as Pattaya, Chilli. I would have bought way more eye shadows if the selection had been wider.

These single shades are more dimensional than the effects I will get from an entire pallete... nobody does it like NARS. Period.

The eyeshadow itself is great, but the color of the shadow isn't even close to the color of the photograph. This shadow is dark, dark brown. I am using it as eye liner. I had looked elsewhere online for a picture of the color, but couldn't find it, so I assumed that the color was correct. I was wrong.

I bought ROME based on internet photos only, and it looked just as gorgeous in person. However, I almost returned it, because the first time I used it, I applied it directly on my powdered eyelids and the pigment was not impressive- I could barely see it at all! But I decided to give it a 2nd chance before I returned it, and I'm glad I did. I applied some cream foundation to my lids as a primer (without powder), and applied ROME directly on top. The appearance intensified significantly, and looked gorgeous. I've had this problem with other shimmery NARS shadows (Night Rider, Ashes To Ashes - both of which I returned), so it seems to be a formulary problem. NARS' matte shades have fantastic pigment (Coconut Grove, Bali), and I wish they could work out the bugs with their shimmer shadows. But overall, ROME is a beautiful silvery/taupey/plummy shade...if applied correctly.
