The Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm games have been notable for their high quality, unusual for a series of licensed games. The fourth game in the series has raised the bar once more, not only is it a great Naruto game, but it's just a great fighting game in general. It's the epitome of easy to learn but difficult to master gameplay. The controls are simple to pick up, and no complicated button mashing for combos. The graphics are amazing, at times it feels like you could be watching the anime itself. There does appear to be some dubbing issues, characters will move their mouths and the audio will be off, but it's nothing too major. The story mode picks up from where the second game left off and follows the story through the Five Kage Summit to the 4th great ninja war arc, though there are some changes to the story. The character availability is insane, from all the Leaf village ninja you know and love to the villains from all the major arcs and even young versions of a few of them. There are also vs. modes that offer different methods of play, from straight up battles between different characters, tournaments, survival mode, and practice. Of course, like the last two games, there is an online mode as well. In short, Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 is one of the best games I've played, and it's well worth checking out. Fans of the series will love it and non-fans can still have a blast with the game play.
The storyline is INTENSELY immersive. I played it for hours upon hours. Theres so many characters to fight as in Free Battle too! I also love the fact that its not stuck in a pseudo 2D fight platform like other games Ive pkayed where the characters can only move left and right. Its so much more fun to fight in this game.
Love it currently still playing
