these were picked up in person they were not frozen they were fresh stayed in fridge a week before using them and were perfect?? i didn't know where the bad reviews came from? they freed up crunchy and tasted great
Aw man, I made egg rolls for the first time... successfully. They were so delicious. These wraps came out of the grease nice and crispy. The inside did not come out of the wrap. When we bit into the egg roll, they were so crunch. Just nice. My cousin said I could sell these egg rolls. I just might.
I picked up these egg roll wrappers, and they did not disappoint! They fried up perfectly golden and crispy without getting greasy or soggy. The texture held strong even after stuffing them with jerk chicken, rice, and peppers — no tearing or falling apart while rolling. What I loved most is how versatile they are: you can go classic with egg rolls, or get creative with fillings like chicken Philly, cheeseburger mix, or even dessert-style wraps. They cook evenly, seal well with just a dab of water, and come out restaurant-quality right at home. I paired mine with rice %26 peas and candied yams (pictured), and it made the whole meal feel like a gourmet takeout plate. Definitely stocking up on these for future meal preps and parties. Highly recommend!
okay, so these are one of my favorite foods! I like to make imitation crab rolls with these and they are just the best! they you can fry these or sometimes I spray them with a little bit of spray oil and cook them in my air fryer. I usually stuff them like I said with imitation crab meat and all the trimmings but you could easily do something like veggie egg rolls beef egg rolls or sausage egg rolls. I love how crispy these get when you fry them and they even get crispy in the air fryer, but to me, not as crispy as when they're fried.
I buy this to use for all types of things. Egg rolls, crab rongoon, pizza rolls, dessert, you can add fruit and shape it like an egg roll, dumplings, fried and steamed, wonton strips and more.
Great product...If you are a 1st time user make sure you only have 1 sheet...Unless you like a thicker crust. My 1st time I thought I had 1 sheet and it happened to be 2 so I had to go to the store to get more to finish dinner.
TEXTURE IS PERFECT - THE TASTE IS GOOD BUT NOT THE BEST - I AM REAL PICKY ON EGG ROLL WRAPS - IT DOES HOWEVER GIVE ME A TINY TUMMY ACHE - I DONT UNDERSTAND BUT I STILL USE IT AS THEIR ARE NO ASIAN MARKETS NEAR ME - IT REALLY FRIES UP WELL WITH MY VEGETABLES AND ALSO COOKS WELL IN ALL TYPES OF PILS IN WIHICH I USE PEANUT OIL.
I've bought these for years and they were great but after not buying for a few months, I bought them 3 times recently and something has changed. First, they are really thin and rip easily before frying. Last time I bought them, I put chicken filling and they collapsed, and I had to throw the entire batch away because there was no way to fry them. Second, the part where the filling is inside, no longer gets crispy, only on the edges.. but the filled center is a weird texture but definitely not crispy. What a shame, we used to love it!
Bought these by mistake. Didnt realize until got home and went to use them. We arent vegan or plant based folks!! We thought they tasted odd and the texture was kind of grainy. My mistake you bet I'll pay better attention next time. Vegan and plant based folks are probably used to the flavors and textures.
they were very difficult to wrap. as soon as i started to roll each one, the wrap turned into little cuts and slits. i had to double wrap them and that just doesnt work.
