After trying these franks for the very first time, I realized I've been eating the wrong hotdogs my entire life!! They are so delicious!! I like the fact that they're 100% beef, no filler by-products, fully cooked, gluten-free, and no artificial flavors or colors. They're the perfect size for a regular hotdog bun. The frank to bun ratio is on point. The regular hotdogs that most people usually buy look pathetically small compared to these. I just wish they came in a pack of 8 instead of 5, only because hotdog buns are always sold in a pack of 8.
I bought these expecting a normal hot dog situation and instead got restaurant-level confidence in sausage form. Thick, juicy, perfectly seasoned, and somehow taste like they were made by someone who takes hot dogs very seriously. Grilled them once and immediately understood why they're called Famous. These are not background hot dogs — these are the main event dogs that upgrade any cookout and make every other brand quietly nervous. YOU GO FAMOUS NATHAN'S!
the only thing I regret is that the description only shows ounces it doesn't give you account I thought this package was thicker like a double tear and once I got it I'd like oh no it's as good as I know these are going to taste which is awesome I'm not going to pay $5 in change for only that many hot dogs I'm sorry that's just me I can't afford that but I've always loved Nathan's products the company in a nutshell as far as I know is always produce good products.
I like Nathan's hot dogs, and in my opinion these are the Goldilocks size. The regular size is too small for the bun, and the colossal quarter pounders are too large, but these fit the bun just right. They are a bit salty for my taste, so I boil them for a bit before grilling or air frying.
Decent beef hot dogs. I accidently got the jumbo kind which I wasn't truly crazy about, I just prefer regular bun sized hot dogs. But Nathan's brand regular hot dogs are pretty good. I usually buy either Nathan's, Ball Park or Oscar Meyer (whichever is currently least expensive). I always get beef hot dogs I think they're a bit better quality.
I've always been told these were good hotdogs. My family was not impressed at all with the taste or quality! Very disappointed with them considering the price that I paid. Definitely not worth the price! I will not purchase again. Not at all what I expected. Very upsetting.
Pros: All beef. No artificial flavors or colors. No fillers. Microwaves in 60 seconds. No corn syrup. Cons: High fat. High sodium. Nitrites. Considered ultra processed. Note has sorbitol. You do get good quality but lots of fat, took 3 paper towels to wipe up/off fat after microwaving 1 hotdog. I am trying to avoid ultra processed as much as possible.
There is nothing JUMBO about these hotdogs. They're just expensive regular size hotdogs. I feel deceived and cheated. I will NOT be purchasing this brand of hotdogs again. Who only puts 5 hotdogs in a pack, when all buns come in a set of 8 buns? Nathan, fix this mess you have created!
Order was picked up 12/29/25. USE BY DATE ON PRODUCT WAS 12/13/25. CHECKED ON LINE, AND ADVISE FROM SUPPLIER WAS TO NOT CONSUME IT. THAT PRODUCT IS NOT CHEAP!!!! CHECK DATES ON PRODUCTS. WHEN YOU HAVE TO SHOP ON LINE, YOU JUST EXPECT YOUR SHOPPER WILL CHECK EXPIRATION DATES. I have Ino picture because I put the package in the trash. I am 84 years old, and on a fixed income. Have no vehicle, and am unable to drive.
The term "Jumbo" is misleading. I wanted a thicker hot dog and instead recieved one that was just a tad longer than the average hot dog. In addition, the package only contains 5 hot dogs whereas other brands contain 8 hot dogs. The quanity is not listed on the package.
