I haven't given 5 stars for a product in a long time in the price for value catagory because groceries are insanely high right now and I don't see any let up in the foreseeable future. High food prices isn't Walmart's fault. They're just trying to survive like everyone else. I'm buying a pack of these dogs in the next order because I have some sauerkraut and some hot dog sauce i need to use. They use this brand of hot dog on the fourth of July when they have the hot dog eating contest.
I purchased this single Nathan's hot dog, because I was considering buying a back of Nathan's hot dogs. However, I have a problem with the sky high price of Nathans, so I got this single Nathan's dog to check out before buying the whole pack. It's a good hot dog, but I don't see it as so fantastic to buy an 8 pack of them at $7.00 a pack. Now I know I prefer the Bar S hotdogs at $1.00 a pack, but if one is traveling, this is a good way to get a good hot dog for the road, and avoiding those fast food joints. Price isn't bad @$1.50 each these days, but I wouldn't pay more than a buck for one now. Bun is nice, I like that it's thin, not so big as most store bought buns. If you want hot dogs for home I would recommend Bar S, some mustard, ketchup, onions, and buns made by Bimbo bakery.
I love to try different things from a store and had never used the Walmart delivery service for deli food. What a game changer! I had a day of cleaning out the house prepared and knew I would need lunch so ordered a hot dog with my grocery order. It was brough while still warm and the quality is excellent, and the frank was the big one. I would take a bite and go back to cleaning, so it took me about an hour to eat the whole thing and even when it was cold the taste was excellent!! Perfection will order again. (Lunch for 1.50, can't go wrong with that)
Fresh and Tasty, I decided to give Nathan's Hot Dog a try. Although it doesn't come with chili, nor onions it has the basic small packages included. This hot dog is for on the run, fast and quick, but of course you can add whatever you want when you take it home. Just as i did, then you can have it you way. Yes, I will buy it again, I recommend you give Nathan's Hot Dog a try you will not be disappointed.
Great quick grab from the deli, warm and steamy and wrapped to go, when I'm in a hurry and need to eat something quick this hits the spot, Nathan's is a great hot dog and since it's kind of steamed in the wrapping it's not too dry so I don't even need to put any condiments on it and it's less than $2. I call that a win.
Good to see Nathan‘s hot dog I believe it's on a Hawaiian bun. Good choice. I wish they would offer condiments or even toppings.. too bad I have to spend $35 to have him bring it out to my car or I'd eat lunch here more often. These are good hots give wanna try.
they taste like a hotdog you got out a ball game. But, that is if they deliver them to the right house and on time. So, depends on if you're eating at the store or having it delivered like I do. Pretty darn good though I wish they would get regular grow and we go beef and frank in stock. Not jumbo, not extra skin not just beef but exactly what I listen to.
The only reason I gave this three stars is because it was purchased through Walmart grocery delivery… So by the time it got here it was cold and it looked like it had been sitting around a while and I just didn't get the full quality. Typically this is something I would rate for stars minimum. However, I am saying somebody needs to buy it in the store. Don't have it delivered if you want it hot.
If you like cold hot dogs the this is the dog for you. If you want a nice hot dog then don't buy. Yeah I could heat it in my microwave but I am disabled and it's wrapped in aluminum and, and, and its supposed to be “hot” hence the term “hot dogs” per the supposed convince of buying it in the first place. i.e. “deli” looked at time made. It was 5 hrs before I received it. Yuk!
I even thought I was chewing on a cap of my tooth or something. It was something very hard in the hot dog and I decided I wasn't gonna eat it after that terrible terrible the worst I've ever had certainly didn't taste like a Nathan's. I'd appreciate my money back.
