You need batteries for the lift but even if you don't have that at first you can still build the rest! It has endless options for set up and I love that it allows for kids to use their creative thinking skills! It comes with several marbles and is now one of our favorite toes to use as a family!

It was super easy to put together for them because they are masters at lego sets. I need more of these. Amazingly, these are very sturdy and not flimsy at all. Great product!
