National Geographic Glow in the Dark Marble Run Construction Play Set, 50 Pieces

The National Geographic marble run is a really fun building toy for kids. My daughters' eight and ten years old had a lot of fun building different runs and watching the glow in the dark marbles run thru them. The pieces are easy to connect together and come with a nice storage bag . Overall, this is a nice educational toy that my girls and I really like.

This product is made of solid plastic for kids over 3 years of age to play with for hour upon hours with full enjoyment with their friends or siblings. The kids loved it from the moment the toys came thru the door. 3 or more kids can play together to build as a team.

Wow! This is such a fun toy to play with your kids and teach them how to build while learning problem solving skills. My kids loved trying to figure out how to get the pieces together so the marbles can travel all the way to the bottom. Another great feature is the marbles are glow in the dark. You shine the little light provided in the kit and are able to make the marbles glow. The kit comes with a bag to store your marble run once you are done. This was very enjoyable for both my children and myself.

My kids love this, it was missing one piece however overall this is awesome for there imagination and they love playing with it. Will be buying more sets to last then make bigger ones.

This is so much fun to play with!! My 4 year old and I will spend hours playing with this! It is very easy to assemble and take apart! The fact that it glows in the dark is awesome!! This is a great toy to play with solo or as a family!

this is a good set. Definitely would say need to buy more pieces to make it bigger. The marbles glow when the little flashlight shines on them and a little while longer.

It gets 3 stars for the storage bag and glow in the dark marbles w/ uv light which is the highlight for my son. The kit itself blah! It tells you 50 pieces but until you get it, you really don't see how small of a run/race it is. You DEFINITELY need more pieces than what the kit comes with to make it an exciting run. One of the images for this product shows alot of pieces, the kit itself is half of that image. Excitement gone after 1st day. Only recommend if you are planning to buy additional pieces.

First of all, it was missing pieces. That really upset me after we put most of it together. 2nd it was confusing to put together because the manual was not helpful at all. 3rd, it was just boring. My son played with the marbles more than the whole set up. I wasn't a big fan.

The excitement was short lived! It's missing a few parts, 1 part missing is crucial because it's 1 of 3 feet/base that support the whole set. That 1 missing foot/base made it so the structure isn't going to stand on its own, it just continues to fall. In my attached photo I had to use the box to hold it up just to get a photo. The 2 feet/base pieces we did receive had no weight to them therefore they weren't sturdy enough to hold the structure even if we had all 3 feet/base pieces. Most of the 50 pieces are very small so altogether the structure isn't large. The manual is useless, no design ideas to help a child. It's supposed to have 9 glow in the dark marbles and a small light to get them glowing, that part the kids liked. I received this item free in exchange for my fair & honest review.

My almost 3 year old enjoyed this, but we were missing legs to support the structure. This set is 50 pieces, but that's 8 marbles, 1 light, and only 41 construction pieces (some pieces use 2-3 parts to equal 1 piece), so you're really not left with much to build. It's also worth mention that the manual doesn't give you examples or ideas to build off of. The picture on the box is not the set you receive, so you can't get building ideas from that either. I think this is a fun idea, but I would recommend spending a little more money and getting a bigger set from a different brand.
