National Lampoon's European Vacation

Easily the best this movie has ever looked. Not the best in the series of vacation movies, but still an enjoyable watch.

This movie is one of my all-time favorites. I recommend buying this movie.

This is my favorite of the Vacation movies. Very underrated I think. Nice looking blu ray only wish it was available on 4K.

Despite all of its faults, the original National Lampoon's Vacation is an '80s classic; nobody can argue that regardless of whether or not you liked the film. This sequel, on the other hand, has none of the fun, classic qualities of the original but all of its faults...and then some. Even the following sequel (Christmas Vacation) is head-and-shoulders above European Vacation; I have no particular love for that film either, though I get its holiday appeal. After having not seen it since I was a kid, I can honestly say that European Vacation is appallingly unbelievable, full of unrealistic and obnoxious characters and is only acceptable to watch out of childish nostalgia. As for this blu-ray, the picture and sound quality are merely tolerable and the only special feature is a commentary track.

I have to get a blu ray player. But first I have to get my eyes fixed.

i don't know where to begin. the picture looks terrible. it's not remastered at all. the dvd looks the same as the blu ray! as for the sound, it matches the picture. terrible! the case says dts hd 1.0 which means the center channel and sub and thats it! for some reason my disc had sound on the menu screens and when playing the movie in another language but no sound when playing it in english. do not purchase this on blu ray. keep your dvd copies they have just as good sound and picture.
