Much more convenient than canned coconut milk as it takes up less pantry space, can re-constitute a small amount when needed (as supposed to open a large can when the recipe only calls for a few tablespoons), minimal "additives" (ingredients: coconut milk, tapioca syrup, sugar esters), and makes a great creamer when traveling. I carry the Native Forest Coconut Milk Powder in my purse at all times, so I may have vegan creamer with my coffee when my husband and I eat out. Delicious! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I tried this in powder for. I was hoping to use it in my coffee as a cremer but it did not work well. I will try to mix with water and have in a liquid form and I am sure it will be better. It does taste good and great it does not need refridgeration. Good stuff.
I bought this to try it in coffee. Not a fan. I think it is an excellent product, just not for me. I will try it periodically, though, maybe it's an acquired taste.
Very good powder,i use it for my hot cacou and cofee
Awesome taste [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
This coconut milk powder is outstanding in my morning coffee. I keep it at the office and don't have to worry about having organic half-n-half, etc., handy. Highly recommend it! Haven't used it for anything else, however, it adds a richness that even the dairy product didn't. LOVE IT.
Used it a few times in smoothies and it tastes great.
I bought this to see if I like coconut milk. The package says it mixes at 5 to 1 ratio. One part powder to five parts hot water. Or 3 tbsp per cup. The package is 5.25 ounces so that means it makes 26.25 ounces of milk. So five of these would make one gallon.
Lucky Vitamin (3rd party seller) advertises "6-packs" and sends individual packs. I ordered 3 6-packs and only received 3 individual pouches. I know what a 6-pack is, and they do too. You have the option of buying a 2-pack or a 6-pack, so it's not a typo. You can't contact Lucky Vitamin by phone or online. You can't talk to anyone at "Lucky Vitamin", no live phone customer reps. I tried going to the Lucky Vitamin website, chat is with someone overseas and useless. The chat is 3rd party and they can't access orders made on Walmart. You'll be told to contact the seller here on Walmart's website. This means email only. I'm disappointed that Walmart allows this seller to do this.
