I bought the mint during December because it's the Holidays and it's mint. Just thought we would give it a try. So far it's just husband and self using it and boy- I have been surprised! My mouth feels clean and fresh BUT I know I don't have a bunch of additives in my mouth from using typical toothpaste.
I am a Dental Hygienist and I bought this toothpaste for my daughter because she gets canker sores-which Sodium Lauryl Sulfate can contribute to- and she likes it a lot! Thank you for making a SLS free product. Thank you for making a great product with NO SLS, but does have Xylitol and Fluoride!
The Native sensitive soothing mint fluoride toothpaste is just as effective as other name brand sensitive toothpaste. I prefer the mint flavor in Native's version because it is just the right intensity for my taste.
I've been using Native's toothpaste for about a year now, and I'm obsessed. I was skeptical at first about transitioning from conventional brands, but with Native the experience is identical as I get the same minty-fresh taste and foamy texture! I just feel a lot better about using it, since it's all-natural and vegan. It's also reassuring to be able to recognize all the ingredients. And best of all, no cavities since making the switch! I've become a big-time Native supporter over time - this brand is my holy grail for self-care products as a conscious vegan consumer. I also love how nice their products look in my washroom haha :) However, I do think they could perhaps make this specific product more affordable, as I've recommended it to friends and they always cringe at the price tag. Would give it a 4.5 star review if possible due to the price, because I do personally think it's still worth it but would like to see it become accessible to others, too.
I'm a dental hygienist, so I've used quite a few different toothpastes over the years. I will have to say, I am not fond of the flavor. I think you can do better. Proctor and Gamble owns Crest, which has great flavors. I wanted something with fluoride, but more natural ingredients as I have an autoimmune disease. Would like to see a better flavor on the market. Otherwise the feel of it seemed just right. Thank you
At first I didn't correlate it to the toothpaste until I took a break from this toothpaste and returned with the same result. My teeth actually became even more sensitive. Cold air on my teeth hurt them after using this. I have since returned to my normal toothpaste and I feel much better. I cannot recommend this product as I do the deodorants and the shampoo (both great products).
Such a disappointment that they included fluoride in the tooth paste. Fluoride is a waste product that does more harm to the human body that it could possible do to teeth, which it doesn't. It's just a way to make money from a waste product. Do the research.
I purchased the sensitivity toothpaste, and the webpage is missing information. On the side of the box, there's a warning to only use the toothpaste for 4 weeks for sensitivity - unless otherwise instructed by a dentist. I've never seen this type of warning on other toothpastes. If this information had been included on the webpage, I definitely wouldn't have purchased the product. It seems suspicious that they omitted it. Also, the webpage says that the toothpastes contains xylitol - which can be beneficial for teeth. However, this ingredient is not listed on the package. Instead, it appears to have been replaced with stevia rebaudiana extract. This mistake isn't nearly as important, but it's still disappointing that the product information has holes in it.
I have only used it one week and it made my gums raw in certain spots.....and now I can't even eat ice cream without feeling that cold cold sensation on my molars that have fillings. The deodorant is awesome BUT THAT TOOTHPASTE IS GOING TO THE TRASH. It is the wild mint with fluoride and whitening.
Fluoride???? I was starting to like and respect this brand and then I saw this. Very disappointed that you are using fluoride. . . A known carcinogen. Now I'm questioning ALL of your products.
