[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a week ago best choice I made !. I went out trying to find the best vitamin for myself that would help with mood and stress . I came up to this section and I just knew it would benefit me in the long run , It definitely has been the best vitamin that controls and miminmizes the affects of stress and helps my moods . Iam so happy it elevates what I feel on a daily basis , it doesn't have any nasty taste or bitterness to it , easy to read instructions very easy to chew comes with enough tablets for a month I'm extremely impressed I bought more to have on hand.

I am not saying I am opposed to prescription medication, there is a time and place, but I did not like side affects of stress relieving prescriptions or the way they made me feel. Natrol 5-HTP takes the edge off on days when I am feeling stressed. I know some people take this on a daily basis but I only take when needed. And it's perfect, it does what I need it to do - calms me down - without any side affects. Works like a charm. And on nights where I am having a hard time sleeping, I take one then too - works!!

I love that it was not habit forming and 100% drug free. It took a few days but I noticed a change, things that would kick up my anxiety or stress level didnt affect me as usual and I felt more calmer and able to handle the situations much better. Doesnt leave you feeling drowsy or medicated like some mood enhancing medications do.

When I have had a few days in a row of high stress, these are my new go-to to help me cope. They don't work immediately upon taking them (but what ever does), but when you know you have a long term stressful situation coming up like a project at work or moving, these can help you handle the long term effects. It does recommend taking with a meal and I suggest that as well or you might feely queasy or nauseous. After about two weeks of daily use, I noticed a small boost in a more positive mood for me around times of the day when I usually feel sluggish, tired, and want to isolate/be away from chit chat. I noticed a little bit less stress on things I normally worry about constantly or related to my work. Overall, if taken consistently I did see a change in my mood and stress levels.

The pills are oval shaped and easy to swallow. They have a pleasant taste. I highly recommend that you take these with food if you have a sensitive stomach. They made me nauseous when I took them without food.

I was hoping these would help, (help more hubby than me...lol) i have mot skipped any days, followed the instructions to a tee. I did not notice any difference at all.

It's a timed release tablet that is suppose to assist in increasing your serotonin levels to help stabilize your mood and help you better cope with the stressors in your life. Unfortunately, I haven't noticed a change in my mood nor ability to self-manage my anxiety and stress levels after weeks of regular use. There are a lot of positive features, but unfortunately I didn't experience them. However, I didn't experience any negative side effects either.

Can't really tell you anything of the product since I never received it even though it was supposedly delivered to the post office. I contacted the seller but never received a reply nor did I receive a refund. To be perfectly honest, I feel robbed of time and money.
