It is very slender and durable, and if you kind of rub your fingers across the board, it doesn't hurt or cut like, and uh, i'm not in favor of resting like metal, the bamboo is antimicroble, it dries really quickly.It fits in a backpack.I love it
I bought this item for an emergency off grid laundry. I tried it out this weekend and washed out my kitchen tea towels and bar back towels. I use them in cooling and drying. They can be a mess. It really worked to get the stains out. I rubes the soap par on the surface and scrubbed. When done I rinsed it off and it dried no cracks or splits. There is a shorter one I am going to get that would work well in a sink.

Wonderful washboard that helps with all my pre wash needs, which is a lot since i use a HE washer and I miss my old school agitator.
Works well, seems very sturdy but not sure how long the bamboo will hold up against repeated wetting. Will need to use for a long time to determine true value for cost. Works well for its intended purpose, but doesn't look like something I could repurpose if I needed to.
Was looking for an old fashioned scrub board to wash our white socks. Couldn't find any until I checked Walmart. I found a great selection made of bamboo! it's the perfect size to easily fit my laundry tub.
This bamboo washboard is narrow which makes it easy to use and makes washing your clothes easier than a wide board.
It was too small, it seemed like it would be bigger because of the measurements, but the handle ate up a lot of length. Quality seemed decent, I never took it out of the package. I would get a larger size if you're washing anything bigger than a washcloth
very small and ridges are not deep plus very narrow. would not recommend.
