I've done alot of research and found this to be one of the best brands as well as B12 vitamins.
works great great price
I searched high and low for Methylcobalamin without sugar or sugar alcohol. My Dr. said to use sublingual for absorption. Natural Factors are the only tablets I found that are both: sublingual, and contain no sugar or sugar alcohol. I recommend this product.
Seems to be working.
Natural Factors Methylcabalamine B12 used to be great. It was bright red, and really boosted my energy and cognition. Lately every bottle I get are a very light pink and dried out, making them very difficult to use sublingually. They also taste extremely dry and powdery. Only by adding water will the pill look red. They also will not boost my cognition or energy in the least. It's almost as if they are just trying to empty warehouses of *years* old product. The vitamin has less of an effect after time. I have a two year old bottle with about ten tablets. It faded some over the years, but they still are much redder the these MB12's. Apparently it has to be used within 3 years for best results. I don't even know if it is Walmarts' error. The last couple of bottles I got from Amazon, were awful also. I'll be looking for a new seller. The bike lock is closer in color. From the web: Expired methylcobalamin B12 may become duller or change color, although a specific color for an expired product isn't defined, as its potency is lost. Methylcobalamin itself is naturally bright red in its crystal form, and its color in liquid or supplement form can be a clue that the vitamin has degraded and is no longer effective. Methylcobalamin has a variable shelf life that depends on its form, with powdered forms often lasting longer (e.g., 36 months) than liquid injections or tablets. For all methylcobalamin products, the official expiration date listed on the packaging is the most important indicator of its shelf life. To maintain potency and extend the shelf life of liquid or opened products, always store methylcobalamin in a cool, dark place, protected from light and humidity, and follow the specific storage instructions on the product label. I really get the sinking feeling that the expiration date on the bottle, Aug 2018 is a fake time stamp, or they weren't stored properly.
