Natural Horse Vet Bug Check For Livestock

I was feeding this for 2 years, then read somewhere that horses turned out 24/7 may not get the full benefit of insect products as something in pasture can neutralize the product. I decided to take my horse off this and majorly regret it. He has been off of it for a month and a half, and we have been miserable. My horse has gotten sores on his back from biting insects and our last show he was repeatedly harassed by horseflies. I am order this again and NEVER taking him off of it. Truly works and keeps my boy comfortable all year round.

I used this last year with not thinking it worked like I thought it should. This year I changed to a different kind that also had vinegar included thinking it would work better. Well was I WRONG!!! I changed back to the bug check after one month! Bug check is the best!!

I have a thin-skinned chestnut who attracts every bug in the world! This year has been the worse even to the point where I had to keep him in during the day behind closed doors with the fan blowing on him. Within a week I noticed a slight difference, and within 2 weeks he could roam around his paddock with just a quick spray and his fly sheet. The bugs hover around him, but not on him! An added perk to this product is the coat condition; shiny with dapples. While this product doesn't eliminate the bug issue, it sure makes it manageable and my horse comfortable again.

I have a very rigid fly management system on my farm. All of our large equine are on Bye Bye Fly & Smart Bug off. When we got our goats we needed something for them to use & Bug Check was the perfect product! Our giats love it & it does its job! No flies!!!

I have used this product and it is a very good product my only problem is getting the product. We have ordered it twice and it is always back ordered and it doesn't do my horse any good if I can't get the product for him.

I've been buying this supplement for approx. 5 years. It is difficult to determine how well it works. However, I do know that the horses are only bothered by a few flys instead of swarms despite living across the road from beef cattle. One summer I did switch to a different fly supplement, but promptly switched back the following year. I would recommend Bug Check to everyone.

Bug Check has transformed summers here. The fly population is dramatically reduced and the horses are happier.

Just received a 30# bag today. The first thing I noticed was the ingredient list on the bag doesn't match what SmartPak listed for ingredients. Instead of dried grape seed as the primary ingredient, it's actually brewers dried yeast, a much cheaper ingredient with fewer health benefits. Had I known the ingredients had been downgraded and cheapened, I would not have purchased this product. Very disappointing.
