What a fun experience this has been! My son is enamored with all the little critters and has enjoyed the entire process. We received six living caterpillars and all six have successfully grown into their chrysalis stage. It's very special to watch the process (even though it kind of grosses me out 😂). You don't handle anything yucky. It is straight forward and the instructions are clear. Your kids will love it.

l bought 2 of these butterfly kits for grandkids. The kids loved watching the development of the painted lady butterflies. Great stem learning experience.

Seeing the butterflies change from sesame-sized caterpillars through butterflies is magical. Never gets old. Waiting for the separately - ordered and delivered caterpillars is necessary but causes a "break in the action." Better than DOA though!

This butterfly garden was the best! Done as a fun project with my family for my youngest daughter. It was so nice to follow the steps to getting the caterpillars, to then watching them grow and transform. I really wanted to keep them forever they were beautiful.

Only issues I had was with a coupon in the box that was not accepted on the website and customer service wasn't great. They did end up refunding me for the butterfly's, when the coupon said pay only shipping and handling. My grandmother ordered because it was advertised on tv as included everything and it did not. Even with all the hassle my kids enjoyed watching the butterflies grow and seeing their life cycle.

They don't tell you that the voucher for the live butterflies is only a 50% off coupon- I had to pay another $12 for the butterflies. Feels like a bait and switch!

Does not ship with catepillars. So its basically a small colapsable laundry basket to dissapoint your kids with. Then you pay more money to order the carepullars.

Not clear that the bugs do not come with it. Cost additional money
