I chose because it has been tested by an independent testing organization and there's a stamp for that on the label. Very important to me since supplements are in adequately regulated in this country. A couple of the reputable vegan doctors who don't sell supplements say that 2500 µg once weekly is fine for vegans. I've gone through a whole bottle/a little over one year. I haven't had a test done though and I probably won't.
