Other brands of Mg citrate that I've tried have been quite large and required that I swallow 3 of their horse pills nightly. The Nature Made brand of Mg citrate gummies are far easier to take! They are a bit expensive, but other brands can be higher priced. I pay the cost of these because they're really effective at making me drowsy and lessening my restless legs. They also taste quite nice, like having a sweet treat at bedtime without guilt.
The new formula has a very weird flavor and leaves an almost waxy coating in your mouth. I also find it crazy that they no longer state they are Quality tested like they show on the previous formula
1st time trying these and will probably be the last. It leaves a weird oily feeling in your mouth, the taste isn't great or the consistency but I can deal with that. The oily feeling I can't.
I used to look forward to taking these daily but ever since they changed the flavor I no longer enjoy. Please bring back the original flavor.
I've been taking these for over three years. I bought a new bottle and at first I thought it was expired then I checked and it does not expire till 2026. I don't know what they did, but these are disgusting. They're soft gooey and taste like crap. I will never buy these again unless they bring the old formula back, which was bright tasting tangy fruity and not as soft and gooey as these new Gummies. Natures Made lost a long time Customer.
Would've been a high 4, but the formula changed for this last bottle. The kid that desperately needs to have this will vomit rather than eat it. He liked the previous formula just fine. Lot # JE240624
I'm in agreement with so many others. The recent change to these magnesium gummies is NOT an improvement. The texture, taste & odor have changed dramatically. I have to force myself to chew & swallow. I just hope the effectiveness hasn't changed! Sadly, I guess I'll be looking for a new brand. I've enjoyed these for over a year until now. :-( Oh, and there's no lot# & expiration date on the label either.
Just adding to the chorus of reviews here. This new taste and texture is absolute garbage. Bought one bottle online and thought we got a bad batch because of how bad it was. Immediately got a new one from the grocery store and it was the same. Now I have two bottles to throw away. There is so much sugar on these there's chunks of sugar sticking to the bottom of the bottle. Please bring back the old taste and texture. Will not be buying this until you do.
New formulation is disgusting. I have used these gummies for the last couple years and even subscribed because my husband uses them also. I recommend them frequently because of the delicious flavor and perfect texture. My payment card expired and I missed the last shipment. Updated my card and restarted the subscription and just received this new formulation. GROSS. The texture is weird, the flavor is fake/plastic/medicinal. I literally spit it out before gagging. The old formulation literally tasted like grandma made them in her kitchen with fresh fruit that day, so to go from that to this is upsetting. I'll be cancelling my subscription and switching to pills I guess. Really hoping they listen to their loyal customers and change back to the old formulation.
They seem to have just changed the formula. The magnesium from Canada (seen on back of label) is NOT the same as the delicious magnesium from USA. The flavor is worse. The texture is worse. If the Canadien formula is the new standard I will no longer be buying them.
