Nature Valley Sweet and Salty Nut Bars, Dark Chocolate Peanut Almond, 24 Bars, 28.8 oz

A perfect mix and amount of everything. Milk chocolate would have brought down the flavor; the dark chocolate is perfect and just the right amount. Dipping the whole bar into dark chocolate would be overwhelming, altho I think I could try it that way, just once if it were available.

These are my go-to granola bars. When you compare nutritional values with other bars, they stack up When you compare taste, they excel. Oats continue to swell during their time in the digestive tract, which might add to the feeling of fullness, but can be a problem for some people like myself. These bars are packed with peanuts, which means more protein.

I'm hypoglycemic. Sometimes, I start to feel sick and I know what I need to do, eat a protein bar. I keep these by my bedside and carry a couple in my purse. The nuts provide the protein I need, they actually get into my system fast and within just a few minutes I'm feeling better. The chocolate doesn't hurt a bit by adding that sweet and savory taste I crave.

These are the best Nature Valley product in my humble opinion. I find them to be a quick pick me up when I need one. The flavor is enhanced by the dark chocolate on the bottom, and also in chunks in the bar itself. There is a slight crunchyness and there's no overly sweetness to it. Be careful what you buy. These are addicting. The only problem I have with them is they are too small. I still consider the 24 pack a bargain.

if you like your granola bars, and want some dark chocolate, this is a great option. its a favorite of mine. only problem i have is that they're like lays potato chips.. you can't stop with just one. lol. next time i buy some i'm going to try and break them up and add them to my cereal :D enjoy

My youngest grandson, and I absolutely love these granola bars. He especially likes picking off the little chunks of dark chocolate off the top of the granola bars, but I don't mind. We share and share alike.. He's been eating them for as long as he could chew and he's only 2 1/2 years old, so I give him the liberty to do as he pleases with them. Ha ha Actually, when he leaves my house, he leaves with a few in his pocket or in a lunch bag. Also, I'm a diabetic and these do not spike my blood sugar either. So I've considered them a safe treat for myself to eat. But if you're a diabetic check with your doctor or check. your blood sugar is regularly. Every person is different.

I have tried a lot of protein bars, and these are my favorite. You can get the slightly smaller size bar (24 per box instead of 10 or 12) and they are the perfect snack size. The protein helps me feel full longer and the flavor is definitely that delicious combination of nuts and dark chocolate. This would be delicious chopped up and put over yogurt or ice cream as a dessert. The almonds clusters are crunchy and full of flavor, but not overwhelming. Some protein bars just taste like a big handful of dry nuts, but these are a much better consistency and easier to chew. I usually have this as an afternoon snack if I am getting hungry but want to have the energy and self control to make a healthy dinner. I also keep one on hand as a late night snack to keep me away from ice cream or chips.

my dog fully agrees that these are tasty, handy, you can stash them in your pocket, purse, daypack, backback, glovebox, nightstand, saddlebags and lunchbox. sometimes even under my pillow. They have just enough chocolate sweetness for the wonderfully nutty crunch. Each bar is a treat!

Just a warning. Something in the ingredients list causes me to itch a little bit if I have more than one of these. They are so good that you probably will eat multiple a day. You have to keep these at room temperature or below due to the chocolate, so don't get them delivered during the summer.

I just reviewed the 15 bar package and leaving the same review for the 24 bar package. I love these things and it's a pretty good deal for the money. I use them as a snack or meal replacement if I'm super busy. I am not given items to review or do I get paid for my review so you will always get my take on it.
