My old favorite toothpaste went by the wayside and in researching why, I found out how most toothpaste's fall short. SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate) is not good for you, but it's what makes the nice foam in your mouth when you brush. This is one of a few toothpastes that is SLS free. Due to this, it doesn't foam like normal toothpaste and that takes some getting used to. The flavor isn't bad, but is a bit odd the first couple brushings. The greyish color is also a bit odd, but that is because it doesn't have added junk like coloring in it. I feel like it does a good job cleaning my teeth, but the other health benefits you get out of it are even better. This has several natural ingredients and does more for you gum health than any other toothpaste. My gums are in much better shape while using this product.

I love this toothpaste. I was told in my 20's that I had periodontal diseases, and I am now 65. I have always been extremely diligent about keeping my teeth clean - flossing, brushing, waterpicking, etc. I always joked that I was probably allergic to my teeth! After getting 3 implants, the periodontal disease continued. I then figured out I was allergic to toothpaste! Specifically, the sodium laurel stearate in the mix of chemicals. Turns out 5-7% of the adult population is sensitive to it, with resultant gum inflammation and pockets - classical periodontal disease! So I started using this toothpaste - VOILA!!!! the pockets are much, much smaller, my gums have never been healthier, periodontal disease gone! Love it!!! I was so lucky to find it - I will never go back to regular toothpaste again.

LOVE PerioBrite! It cleans gently but thoroughly. It's truly non-abrasive, whitens [I don't find that the whitening lasts a long time, but I still love the toothpaste], and the only adjustment for me was using a beige toothpaste! Love it and highly recommend it.

best toothpaste ever - leaves teeth white and slick as ice - no chemicals - pleasant mint taste - will last a long time - use only a small amount as recommended by manufacturer; my only complaint is that my previous tubes squeezed out easily - this batch is stuck in the tube

This is the second time that I've purchased this toothpaste. First time it oozed out of the tube, this time I really have to squeeze to get the paste out. Overall, I like the way it cleans my teeth - it feels like using a mild paste that polishes my teeth. My teeth look whiter, gums feel healthier. The taste is mild. I like it enough to order it again.

I have used this toothpaste for several years and find it to be very effective, without fluoride or other harmful ingredients. The quality can be a little iffy, sometimes being very dense and hard to squeeze and other times a little too loose. Still I have found nothing better and continue to use and recommend.

Taste a little chalky and funky compared to the so called national brands, but it's a nice natural product without flouride. I cleans well, but leaves a white film in my mouth after spitting. Used with the Periorinse from Natures Answer it's perfect and a good combo that rinses out the 'film' that this toothpaste leaves behind.
