These fig bars are very good and filling. This does not have high fructose corn syrup etc and are healthy. They remind me of the fig bars I ate as a child. The Fig is very tasty and the bars are thicker which is good as they are filling. I was given these by a family member and when I tried them I knew this was the afternoon snack for us. I highly recommend these bars.
Natures Bakery Original Fig Bars have more flavor than the "other" brand that we grew up with as a kid. Also a lot less sweeter but still taste better. I love all the flavors but blueberry and apple cinnamon are my 2 favorites and then original fig and raspberry, oh who am I kidding, strawberry is also yummy!
I love these - tasty and filling - so good they are a bit addictive. Price comes out to less than $1 per twin pack. No GMO's, good ingredients, only 200 calories - too me worth the price.
I've switched to these from Newton's. Great taste and soft and moist. I add them to my lunches. Bought two 18 packs recently and one only had 17. Just be aware .
When I was a little girl (I'm now 85 years old) Fig Newtons were my favorite cookie. Nature's Bakery Fig bars taste soooo much better than the ones I grew up eating...that doesn't happen very often; so, thank you "Nature's Bakery" for making my lifelong favorite cookie even better in every way!
This is always a tasty treat for any day
the nutrition information on the package says serving size is two bars not one bar
This sets a high bar for fig cookies. No mass produced brand of fig filled cookies can compare to the wholesomeness and healthy fiber content of these NB bars and they stay fresh in the foil packs. The shelf life is long and the texture is so satisfying compared to cheaper brands. These are so filling that I sometimes just have one for a snack and fold the pouch closed to keep the other one fresh for several days. I am so glad these are not organic but I do take off one star for that 'Non-GMO' label nonsense which is just a fear mongering marketing scam by the organic industry. GMO is not an ingredient, it is a breeding method and there are no GMO figs grown on this planet. The US does not grow GMO wheat either. The organic industry gets a fee for the 'certification' stamp and that increases the price of these products. I wish I could just buy the bars and not the woo.
Just got a box to try them again after burning myself out on them a few years ago. They've definitely changed for the worse. Half of the packages were bars with no filling. Super disappointed.
very disappointed the ratio of fig to biscuit you get more biscuit than fig I find the biscuit is very dry and too heavy. will not buy this item again
