Just the right amount of sweetness to go nicely with your morning coffee or tea. Great for a guilt-free snack for you are the kids, I really like that fact that it's organic and non-gmo, Please read to make sure there are not allergens all the same.
Addicting snack WOW! They are soft, gooey and delicious! We've tried all the flavors and well none are favorites BECAUSE THEY ARE ALL SO GOOD…… you'll have to securely hide these away if you want a shot at them. Ya know maybe if the company made the outside wrapper printed with Broccoli or Brussels Sprouts we wouldn't have to keep moving them around the kitchen…..
The flavor, the texture, both are great! I love these. They're great for quick snacks or even a breakfast when on the run. I often have 4 of them along with a cup of coffee, tea or a fruity drink. They're not too sweet, but just right. Soft and chewy. It's smooth and the benefits of them are great as well. Try them for yourself! Your taste buds. Will thank you!
Hear ye, gentle soul, a brief recital concerning the humble Nature's Bakery Whole Wheat Fig Bar Raspberry, a modest wafer of sustenance most curious in nature. Upon mine eyes first falling upon it, I did not behold a grand feast nor noble banquet, but rather a quiet square of baked intent, as though some cautious baker had whispered, “Let us not offend the world this day.” Its form is rectangular and solemn, like a tiny parchment of edible law, signed by wheat and sealed with faint fruitish memory. It doth sit in thy hand with the confidence of one who hath never once been asked to explain itself. When opened, it proclaimeth nothing. No trumpet, no herald, no dramatic flourish—only silence, like a court fool who hath forgotten his jest yet remaineth on stage regardless. The texture? Neither soft as a maiden's sigh nor firm as a knight's oath, but somewhere betwixt, as though indecision itself had been baked and lightly browned. It yieldeth when bitten, yet with hesitation, as if consulting unseen advisors within. Within it lurketh raspberry, though “lurketh” may be too strong a word. It is more like a shy guest at feast, present yet not eager to be known, offering sweetness in whispers rather than proclamation. As I did consume it, I found myself pondering whether this is truly food, or merely the idea of food made tangible—like a sonnet that nourisheth not the body but the notion of appetite itself. In truth, it asketh little of the eater, and giveth little in return, yet therein lies its strange honesty. It doth not pretend to grandeur, nor doth it strive for glory. It simply *is*, and endureth that existence with admirable restraint. So I declare thus: a quiet companion for hunger's lesser hours, neither hero nor villain in the grand tale of sustenance, but a humble page turning silently in the book of daily bread. AJ The Wandering Scribe.
These have comparatively clean ingredients. The other brands have high fructose corn syrup and additional unnecessary ingredients. So we dont mind spending extra. These are the perfect snack for kids, toddlers, adults. Soft, chewy texture and love the assortment of flavor options.
I buy these for my two toddlers. They love them - they love all the flavors! Great little snack for on the go. They can get sticky but they don't crumble and leave crumbs everywhere which is a plus when you are on the go. Perfect little post-nap snack to wake them up and fuel them for their afternoon.
These bars have a great fruity taste without being too sweet, and the texture is firm but not hard. I like that I can keep a few packs in my car for emergency food and can eat them while driving without getting my hands sticky or messy. Bonus is that my grandkids like them. I appreciate them having snacks that aren't just sugar.
I ordered the raspberry and blueberry. My granddaughter loves blueberry and I do as well, but I've never had the strawberry and they replaced my raspberry because apparently they were out of them. I wasn't happy about that. I do love the raspberry better than the strawberry. But the strawberry are OK
I really like these fig bars, especially the strawberry flavor. However, these did come a little dry compared to other flavors and boxes of these bars I've purchased, but still tasted great. Willing to try again as they were a great price point compared to Amazon.
I usually order all 3 of the Natures Bakery flavors... Raspberry , Blueberry , Strawberry. Experience has taught me the Strawberry is always dry and never moist , making it undesirable and difficult to chew . Especially if you're older wearing dentures.
