Fits my needs!
I bought this set up about a year ago, installation and set up is fairly easy. I also bought the 6 breaker electric panel to wire into the existing house panel, I hooked this up myself however you should probably hire an electrician. I run 80% of my 3 bedroom 2 bath house electrical needs from the this unit. I do not have the AC/HEAT, cloths dryer or the electric range hooked up to the solar system. Also its just me and the wife and 2 dogs. I was thinking about getting two more panels and another battery pack, but its working fine the way it is.I can usually run 2 days of complete cloudy weather with out switching back to line power.

Power the Entire House
I have a few of the Elite generators. They have worked well but has some limitations for whole house use. Since buying the powerhouse generator, I have been very happy with its capabilities. It definitely stands up to much higher loads than the Elite. The larger solar panels have worked very well. This system is a nice step up from the elite. It is well worth the money.
