Best Organic Cereal Ever! Crunchy, Hearty, Tasty!!

Derrick June 25, 2025

Best organic cereal ever! Crunchy, hearty, great taste and texture. If you think the price is high per box, pay attention to the price per ounce. The price is on par with low-priced non-organic cereals. Flakes are dense and crunchy. Stays crunchy all the way to the end of the bowl. I have found my new cereal. Where has it been hiding? I've tried them all. For real! This is my new cereal after over 50 years of eating other brands cardboard or so-called "healthy" cereals.

Jeffrey June 5, 2025

The product is now packed in a cardboard box versus when it was just a bag on the shelf and the flakes are now whole and not crushed and powdered. I enjoy the crunchiness of the cereal it does not get watered down by the milk and keeps its crunchiness.

Best Healthful Cereal

hippy January 19, 2026

I don't recall eating any cereal as crunchy. We like the combination of grains including spelt, along with the understated barley flavor. It really stands up to milk. Tastes great on its own but we usually add a little fresh or frozen fruit. A much better value than Kashi,Cascadia, and other competitors. And it's probably healthier.

So crunchy... the crunchiest

Lo February 12, 2026

I love this. it is just so crunchy, even in milk. it takes effort to chew and I love that. to me it tastes perfect -- not too sweet and not like cardboard. and sooo crunchy crunchy crunchy. it's become my favorite organic cereal, probably my favorite cereal in general.

Good low sugar

David December 31, 2025

Healthy cereal consisting of many whole grains and low low amounts of sugar which is cane sugar and fruit juice I think at least that is what most of this brand uses. Good taste, nice crunch, Economical package that takes a while to get through. I do recommend this is a good cereal and healthy.

Very crunchy, hearty cereal

Angelo April 5, 2026

The only reason this has 4 stars instead of 5 is because it's so expensive, but otherwise we really like it. It has a good flavor, reasonable nutritional profile, and is insanely crunchy. It's the only cereal I've ever tried that doesn't get soggy if you get distracted and leave it in milk for ten minutes. It's a filling snack.

Ruined the formula.Tasteless, Salty %26 Soggy Mess

Sam July 8, 2025

I’ve been a loyal Heritage Flakes fan for years, raving to friends about its low-sugar recipe and how it stayed crisp until the last bite. Sadly, my recent purchase from Walmart was a letdown. The formula has clearly change, it now a soggy mess through out the bowl and tastes noticeably saltier. I’m so disappointed that a once-great product has lost its charm. Please bring back the original recipe!

Soft flakes…where’s the delicious crunch!!

anonymous July 5, 2025

Loved this cereal in the past, but 2 of the most boxes purchased had soft flakes…it’s the crunch that makes it a great cereal so this was disappointing to say the least. Not sure if these boxes were “one offs “, but if the recipe changed it’s a shame!

What happened?

TevTriesThings May 15, 2026

I loved buying this when I was vegan back in 2016 or so. Decided I wanted to try it again 10 years later. What a massive mistake. The flavor is...not there at all. It's PAINFULLY bland. The texture is crunchy but inconsistent. There are a bunch of these defect, hard little rock pieces. Feels like you may chip a tooth. Also it's ultra dry, like eating sand. Gritty and it rips the moisture out of your mouth. 10 minutes in milk and it's not soggy...how? I put in for a refund for one box. It's shocking to see how far down the "healthy brands" have fallen. Many have been bought by mega corporations. I do not recommend this product at all. Actually, I encourage you to avoid it.

Not "MultiPack"

anonymous August 22, 2025

The advertising is intentionally DECEPTIVE. The product is ONE (1) box -33.5 OZ - of cereal. It is NOT FOUR (4) boxes NOR a MULTIPACK. So, you are paying $8 for ONE box. I like the cereal but I will buy where the listing is transparent, honest, and forthright. And where they do not use BLACK MARKETING TACTICS. Please. Otherwise I like the cereal. Too bad.
