6 years ago my doctor told me to increase my fiber. These were a start to 4% of my fiber requirements. And they are made with whole wheat flour and not white flour. Flavor can't be beat and are not overly sweet. Every morning at my break I have one. there are two to a pouch so these last me 6 days. My local stores quit stocking them so now I order a case directly every time I run out.
First time eating these since I don't normally eat pomegranate. My husband (who doesn't like toaster pastries) and I agreed that this was very good! The pastry tastes much better than the ones you find in grocery stores and does not coat your mouth with a dry but pasty taste. The filling is excellent! We will purchase these again.
It is so nice to find good tasting toaster pastries and other products that don't use GMO products, pesticides, high fructose corn syrup, and other avoids. Thank you for being there. I'm a customer for life.
I originally purchased this just for my kiddos, but now I buy it for all of us. It's so good! Full of flavor with none of the yucky artificial stuff. My kids ask for this Nature's Path EnviroKids cereal or their toaster pastries daily.
My absolute favorite flavor! The cherry and pomegranate ratio is just right, one doesn't overpower the other. The combination is equal goodness! My go to each time, and our household carries all the flavors! YUM! #sweepstakes
I ordered this item twice! First seller shipped some wrapped package to the wrong address, typical UPS scam behavior. iHerb sends you a single box per 12 box order. I know because I ordered 3 orders of 12 boxes, and only got 3 boxes of 6. It tastes alright, but there is a lot of dead dry space between the ends and the middle. Those of you looking to save money, buy Walmart brand in store, this listing would be cheaper if they actually sent you 12 boxes, but when two different sellers of the same item stiff you, it seems like a bad idea to keep trying. you can get 72 pastries in store for 12 bucks. Here, you think you get 72 for around 10, but you only really get 6... Joke's on me... Happy new year, Everyone!
A sweet and refreshing flavor that fruit fans will enjoy as a quick snack. Not too sugary and definitely not fake-tasting to enjoy an authentic treat without a stomach ache or regrets later on. #sweepstakes
My wife bought me two different flavors for me to try as a healthier alternative to the leading brand which I have been eating since my childhood. While this review is under the Frosted Cherry Pomegranate flavor, my findings apply to both flavors I tried. For openers, I will say they are just okay. The wheat dough is very thick and the filling equally thin. As a result, the pastry is very dry whether eaten cold or toasted. I tried them both ways. Your best bet is to eat them toasted and slathered with a good amount of butter. Even then, you will want a large drink handy to wash them down. I always drink milk with my pastries. The taste is okay but is buried by the thick wheat dough. If they doubled the amount of filling them so they actual product is like the what is depicted on the box cover, I would reconsider. But, after my first experience, I can say that there better alternative out there if flavor is what you are looking for. As for actually being healthier, the numbers on the package were not much better than what the competition offers. The company is free to contact me for my feedback.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The taste was overall toast without filling. Very minimal filling in a thick crust with almost no frosting. If picture on box actually represented what was in box it would be different - and likely never bought. Box is very misleading. Either add filling or lessen the crust for sure.
Product description says 12 boxes, more than once. I received ONE box and Walmart shows the order as fulfilled, so they aren't planning on sending the other 11 boxes. I thought these were on clearance to account for the low price. I used to buy these for just over $3/box elsewhere and would never have paid $10 for one box, that's ridiculous.
