Nature's Way Bird Products Cedar Bat House, 3-Chamber, Brown

I was so excited to get a bat house. I have wanted one for quite some time, to bring bats into my yard, so I can watch them swoop and fly at dusk, not to mention eat bugs. This bat house is very sturdily made out of cedar, so it will stand up the elements. It has two pieces that move to be able to pull out the chambers to clean the house, air holes for venting, and scored back so the bats can climb in and be safe. It looks nice, too. I had no issue putting it up on the side of my house. We hung it up in the eave, facing East, with 4 3" deck screws, so the house will get plenty of sunlight during the day. Now we just wait for the bats to come!

This is a very impressive bat box with a solid feel and great design. Its very well manufactured with quality cedar wood and rust resistant hardware. There are 3 chambers for the bats to make a home in, separated by 2 center walls that can easily be removed for cleaning, by rotating 2 small wooden locks that hold them in place. Each of the walls in the box have a nylon mesh sheet stapled to it, making it easier for the bats to hang on. There is also a nice landing zone with grooves for the bats to grab onto before making their way into the box. Three holes on each side gives the box some nice ventilation. Very happy and impressed with the overall look and feel of this bat box. Still too cold to put it up but spring is right around the corner and can’t wait to get some new tenets occupying it. Great addition to my property and some real bad news for the local mosquitoes.

Beautiful Cedar Wood, treated so it will withstand the elements - comes with all the items needed to brace your box in a safe location so the Bats can begin to roost! Easy to paint if you wish, extremely easy to care for and clean during the Wintertime (when bats relocate). Overall, an item that will be on your property for years to come! Extremely durable and worth the price. We cannot wait to install ours this Spring!

I love this bat box! This box it tall and does not look very roomy, but the bats cluster together and appear very comfortable. I placed this high up (about 12 ft off the ground) and it took less than a week to be inhabited and I have not had a mosquito or bug problem since. I will never be without this box ever again!

This bat house is excellent quality, and I would recommend it to anyone. I researched Bat Houses and this one meets all the requirements needed in a bat shelter. It was larger than I expected, and I believe it's made of cedar. The bat house has the internal roosts and sections the bats prefer. I would buy this bat house again

It’s too cold to install the 4x4 post outside still as the ground is still too hard. Once it warms up a little more I can’t wait to get this bat house up. The house is large and has three compartment to house a bunch of bats. Each compartment is lined with a screen for them to hang on and at the bottom the ridges provide a perch for them to latch onto and get themselves inside. On the sides there are air holes for circulation. It’s a well thought out design.

I’ve heard of these but honestly never k ew they were mass produced for home use! I LOVE this idea! First off, bats serve a VERY useful purpose and people need to understand that. Second, this box is a fantastic way to provide shelter and ensure that your neighborhood bats will be snug in their box and nit in your attic! Box is great sized and will fit several bats. The back side has a mesh liner to help them grip when they climb in. Only downside is that there is not ckear hanging hardware or instructions. No pre drilled holes or wire etc. no worries, I’ll take care of that. SO looking forward to less mosquitoes in my back yard this year!

This is my first bat house, and the website had a lot of information on it enabling me to pick it out from other bat houses I looked at online. It has a nice cedar smell and it was very well-made and clever how it folds out so you can remove the Chamber dividers. I just put it up so I will not know for a while if it is working.

Really well built bat house. Feels sturdy, all except the roof. The roof came in cracked in half. Easy enough to fix but since it's cedar, it's prone to splitting and the roof did split during shipping. There wasn't really any shipping material in the box so I expect that's why. Easy to hang. We'll see if the bats like it!

Love the idea. The house seems very well made and is heavy and sturdy. Unfortunately I have no had any luck with getting bats to move in. May just take a bit more time. Either way, the house looks like it'll stand up to the elements for a while, well made.
