Nature's Way Sambucus Relief Syrup - Exp 6/30/23

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had a sore throat and slight cough in which seems like a month. I've tried other products with elderberry and always got good results. I know they're a great immune booster. I did find it on the sweeter side which surprised me. I thought it would be more tart. I can't swallow pills so I do look for liquid medicine. I took the recommended dosage for a couple days and was surprised that I felt better and didn't feel sick. It worked fairly quickly at relieving my sore throat as well as my cough. Overall I think it worked alittle better than other medicine. It was easy to take and tasted good.

I was able to get a good night sleep because this medicine works! It is thick and has a very distinct taste that is somewhat sour to the taste buds. It's very different from the cherry medicinal flavors on the market. I like the flavor, but my significant other does not. In my opinion, when a medicine works well, it doesn't matter what it tastes like. This tends to cost more than other cough syrups on the market, but don't let price keep you from giving it a try. I highly recommend.

This comes in very handy during weather changes and flu . I had severe cough lasting for a couple if weeks. The regular over the counter medications didn't work quite well for me. Which is when I discovered this product and I decided to have it a try as sambucus provides immunity too in addition to cough relief. To my surprise, this especially helped at nights when coughing used to wake me up and my spouse. It worked gradually but effectively and my cough was gone in a week. I already have multiple bottles in my cabinet for any emergencies. The taste is good too. I will highly recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pleasantly surprised by the taste of this. I don't usually care for it but this was very soothing. I always purchased elderberry from a local distributor and had to plug my nose to drink it. This I didn't!!

I received this cough medicine on 11/9/24 which are visibly marked and printed with expiration of 6/30/23!!!! Why would anyone send out visibly expired medication over a year old 😡
