Been buying it at my local heath food store and then they went out of business...found the same product at Swanson and with shipping, it's cheaper than the store where I used to buy it. It's a quick breakfast for me before my workout days and sugar free:)

I started a self-mandated health and fitness program almost a year ago, and decided to start each day with a smoothie. I quickly realized I wanted more protein to keep me full longer, but all of the protein powders I tried were just too sweet for my taste. This unsweetened version is perfect. You get plenty of protein, plus with the additional vitamins, I do not have to take an additional multi-vitamin, and still feel quite an energy burst each day. While I think this mixes best with smoothies, I have also mixed it with just juice as a slightly less tasty, but still very good option. I have had a smoothie with Spiru-Tein every morning for the last 9 months, and have succeeded in losing over 55 lbs., and now I am maintaining my idea weight. I cannot recommend it enough.

Best soy supplement we've ever tasted. Add Lactaid, banana, peanut butter, and baking cocoa for a divine smoothie. Recently somebody asked for Ensure or some other nutritional drink for her husband wasting away. Recommended she order Spiru-Tein unsweetened vanilla powder instead. Tastes better and a whole lot cheaper. Fool if she didn't.

Just when I was about to purchase this product from another carrier, I saw that Swanson finally began to sell my favorite protein! I searched everywhere to find the lowest price and Swanson, hands down, offers the best deal. I love this protein not only because it is has 0g of sugar (the sweetened kind usually makes me feel nauseous), but also because it includes a long list of your essential daily vitamins, minerals and amino acids per serving. To top it off, it's quite delicious! One scoop has 14 grams of protein and 0g fat. It does not include whey (an animal product). Instead, it is a perfect blend of rice, pea and soy protein--great for vegetarians, vegans, or anyone looking for an alternative to whey.

I have used Spiru-tein for many years. I stopped for awhile and then started up again. I always notice when I do, how much better I feel and I have more energy. I mix it with juices, almond milk or regular milk. 1 can last 30 days. I am glad I am back on it again!!

We have happily used Spiru Tein protein powder for over 20 years - we love it! Since fresh fruit and juices have enough sugar in them, we switched to the “unsweetened” Spiru Tein.

The best for mixing up a nutritious, fantastic smoothie with fresh or frozen fruit, bananas and apple juice. I make several days worth at a time and it makes my day!

Have been using this product (vanilla) for 2-3 years. Love it. Use it in my smoothie w/froz fruits and fresh greens flax and chia seeds. I am good to go! Swansons best place to purchase this!

If you have any whey or soy allergies this is a great replacement. We use it for our breakfast smoothie base. It tastes great with fruit and almond milk.

This review is primarily for the service. My package shipped in 3 separate boxes. 2 of the boxes were too small for the containers and were crushed on the side where the box was forced close to seal. I emailed Swanson customer svc to report this and never received a response. I won't be doing business here again.
