Great alone or in a bruschetta. I like to slice these into little chunks, add scallions, and a couple of roma's or other type of tomatoe, add some fresh thyme, crushed garlic, then add red wine vinegar and olive oil. Marinading overnight is best but I can never wait. get some flavorful bread like a 'garlic' of cheese loaf, toast a slice, spread plain goat chees on it then add your tomatoe mixture. YUM ! It'll last in the fridge for a two weeks and on't be afraid of it if the olive oil congeals, This is a normal physical reaction, not a sign of poor quality or fake oil, and it will return to a clear liquid state at room temperature. Great snack at the end of the day instead of chips !
These are our favorite. The quality is consistently good regarding size and flavor. The best thing about this product is knowing that we’re supporting a brand who show their regard for their employees by sharing their contribution on the package label. NatureSweet cares about their brand!
These are so good! I like to blanch them for about 15 seconds in boiling hot water, and then slide the skins off and re-chill them in the fridge. They are so yummy, and they're good for you too. They are also great on skewers in veggie kabobs, and to cook to make sauces out of. And really good to throw in the blender with a dash of Tabasco and blend well for a spicy kickin' smoothy.
These are by far, the best tasting grape tomatoes in the Walmart's produce offering. This old guy back sez, I hope it stays that way. A couple weeks there the product went down in flavor but, came back. I have tried a few of the other brands of the grape (and cherry) tomatoes and rated then only to have them go down hill in the flavor and quality department. I can't figure why this happens? Anyway, so far so good and the best!
they tasted fresh! i prefer oxheart. tomato, the flavoe is awesome. a patient brought me a bag of them at st. mary' extended stay and i ate them all! it took me weeks until I found 7 plants! i planted them in my yard! talked to them, pruned them, unbeknownst to me my son's were throwing thwm at the privacy fence! i finally got 3 and put them on the windowsill! MY HUSBAND ATE THEM! I WAS Saving them to make b.l.t?'
Use as in this image with the large yellow lid facing down always. To open/use, pull the small lid facing on the top. look for a small tab to grab %26 pull open while leaving around 1/4 of the lid always attached on the top. Note: lid instructions are on the small lid also. Since the lids outedge is a resealable sticky edge (best not to touch that area much), leaving the same area always attached makes it so much easier to reseal and open each use.
I love, love, love these cherub tomatoes. I not only load up my salads with them, but also eat them as a snack. I only have one negative comment and that is that the bottem (lid) comes off in bag and you end up with a bag of little tomatoes to round up when you are putting away your groceries.
These grape tomatoes are delicious if you can get them while fresh. the past two times ive purchased these particular grape tomatoes they mold very quickly. i do not place them in the refrigerator because we do eat them within about 3-4 days of purchasing and leaving them on the counter maintains their flavor. the past two times on purchasing these tomatoes they will mold within 2-3 days.
I buy these all the time and I love them. This week after I got home from pickup and was putting my groceries away, I saw that my Cherubs were wrinkled and decaying and I had to throw them away. This is more a store problem than a product issue, but it was a waste of time and money.
Who ever did the shopping for my order paid no attention to the cherry tomatoes having several tomatoes rotted. I have never had an issue with the choices the shoppers pick but this is ridiculous and they need more training on how to select fresh and great quality items rather than just picking items and not checking them first! Not acceptable at all! Ever heard one bad apple will ruin the bunch, that is exactly what happened, it caused the others to smell horrible, along with causing the others to shrivel the others were unable to use due to the majorly rotten tomato
