I received this shampoo complimentary from Naturtint in exchange for my honest review. Although I don't have colored hair, I was interested in trying this Naturtint Color Care Shampoo because I find that color-friendly shampoos are often gentler on my hair. I also like that it is cruelty-free and that 99.2% of the ingredients are naturally derived, but I do wish that there was more information provided about how those ingredients are processed before reaching the final form used for the products. It is also free of SLES, parabens, and artificial fragrances. When I opened the bottle, I did find that the fragrance was subtle, nearly undetectable. However, when I washed my hair with it, the scent was still subtle, but stronger and more noticeable. It has a light herbal citrus fragrance that I found pleasant and refreshing. After rinsing the shampoo from my hair, I noticed that it had a more natural feel compared to that overly "squeaky-clean" feeling that other shampoos create. As a result, I feel like the shampoo was gentler on my hair and stripped less of my natural oils which I liked. Once my hair was dry, it still felt very clean and soft though. I didn't feel like there was any unwanted oiliness remaining, and I was very happy with its performance!

This shampoo has a fruity floral fragrance. It lathered slightly, which is typical for color care shampoos. My hair feels clean but not stripped of all oils. Once dry, my hair had shine and less frizz. One complaint is my hair appeared flatter on the second day, so I'd need to style it more. The packaging is pretty functional. The flip top makes it easy to get out and is easy to open in the shower. Gifted by Naturtint.

My hair is so soft and shiny and being cruelty free and created with 96% naturally derived ingredients is a game changer. I can definitely tell how much more nourished and healthy my hair feels and it smells so good. I definitely recommend if you have colored or damaged hair.

The top had been brown, it leaked and it had been taped back. Shampoo all over inside.
