I purchased this bike for my husband. We assembled it with relative ease. Initially, we had a problem with a knocking sound in one of the pedals that has went away after using the bike several times. This is a quiet bike. My husband and I are enjoying it.
You need to assemble this exercise bike, but all the necessary parts and tools are included. Just be sure to follow the directions carefully and it goes together easily. It is heavy enough to be stable but rolls around from place to place when tilted onto its wheels. The seat is large and easily adjustable up-and-down and back-and-forth. There are so many exercise programs built in to the unit that you can eventually find just the ones you want to use most regularly. It has a nice fan that blows on your face during the workout if you want it and you can use the bluetooth connector to track your performance on a computer and the i-phone interface to hear your own tunes through the built-in speakers. It has a stand that can be used to prop up a tablet if you want. This bike should give years of service.
this bike exceeded my expectations. It is very quiet, smooth and comfortable and I get a great workout on it.
Weeks out of shoulder surgery use to run daily, this bike is suggested by my physical therapist. I am excited to get back in shape. 4.5 mile on first ride. So encouraged to be working out again.
It's a great way to stay in shape when we can't get out and ride.
Totally love the cycle class at gym, but was glad to get one for the home. Still figuring out all the features. It was disappointing when I tried to pedal while standing like in class. The pedals wouldn't go all the way around. They just stop at the bottom. I figured out how to adjust my seating and add resistance to give me the same results as if I were standing.
Overall bike is decent for home use! Seat could use adjustable tilt as an option for more user friendly comfort.
Has seat and handlebar adjustability that were a must for me. Only issue that I found for me and would most likely not be an issue for others is that I like the s eat slightly behind the pedals. Most people ride directly over pedal. When I position the seat where I like it, I am a ltitle farther away from the handlebars than I like, otherwise would give it 5 stars. Again, this would not be an issue forosteoporosis people. Good bang for your buck.
I have no downloaded or used the app, thus no opinion. The build of the bike is not as great as my expectation- the plastic parts have scuffs, the metal has scuffs as well- I halfway wondered if the bike was already used but the joints and pieces seemed new so I think the marks all around are from manufacturing. The bike was very easy to put together; instructions are not difficult to follow, and the small pieces are packaged in a labeled paper so there is no confusion on bolts and washers. The use of the bike is easy and my favorite part is how quiet is is. The only indication its on are the lights and the beeps of the dashboard. I think you can adjust that volume, but I have not looked into how to do that yet. The seat is alright- not sure that any bike seat is ever really comfortable though. It is adjustable forward and back, up and down. I have only tried two programs- rolling hills and custom so I cannot say much about them but everything I'm sure is really good because its completely adjustable and changes in resistance while riding are smooth and still very quiet (magnetic). The features of bluetooth, the speakers, the app, and the user profiles (4)and the save feature of workouts is really nice; I'm not sure what else someone would need. The bike works as I expected and I'm happy with the purchase.
I was pumped to use this bike and things went well for the first month and a half that I had it, then the pedal fell off and unfortunately will not go back into the arm mechanism. I have tried multiple times to contact customer support, to no avail.
