I do like these oranges but I’d caution you to look at them closely. The bag is a mesh so you can see them all and wash them in the bag when you get them home. Recently I had a bag delivered and four were rotten. To be fair it look liked they were crushed and then sat on the shelf until a store employee sent them to me. They were disgusting and I couldn’t even eat the good ones. Moldy and mushy. I’ve since bought more and they were fine.
I feel robbed. I opted to get the eight pound bag instead of two 4 pound bags. I was happy at first when I saw how much bigger the oranges were, but upon peeling the oranges I found that the peels are about 3X much thicker which takes up more weight and space. So you really get a smaller amount of oranges with the bigger bag.
This was my first order. Delivery was put in my kitchen sink and the box of 6 eggs was shattered. Didn't notice this until she left. Everything else was great. My daughter set this account up for me. This will be my first order experience. Where do I go for help? New to computer ordering. 85 yrs. old. Yes, have check card ready. How do I see to order, please?
I would normally go into the store and purchase my own produce, however, since I was getting a delivery I chose to purchase a 8lb bag of oranges. A couple of the oranges were noticeably dry looking on the outside, but most of them still look pretty decent. I will know for sure once I start eating them. I guess it's best to pick your own produce if you are able. Hope this helps!
These are the driest oranges I've ever had. I have purchased 2 bags a week for a very long time and the last 3 months or more I have not gotten a single juicy orange. They're gross. Yeah it's on me because I keep purchasing them (only because I require a high amount of vit c daily)
Generally, these were extremely dried out. Perhaps we just got a bad bag but many were not edible and had to be thrown out. Some had reasonable good flavor and some were only partially dried out so we could pick around and get some good pieces. But, some were completely dry and were thrown out.
these oranges were basically not fit to eat. Half of every orange was pithy and dried out to the point i threw them away. Buying these oranges is a hit or miss situation. I find about 2 out of 3 bags of oranges are decent but the other 33% are either damaged or not good.
These were the biggest oranges I have ever seen. They are very thick skinned which was fine, but the tips of all of them are dried out like they are old or frost bitten. We ate several by cutting off the tips, but after 3 days they just are no longer tolerable.
I ordered oranges, mandarins, and elephant ears for delivery, and I was shocked when the order arrived. Several of the oranges and mandarins were covered in mold, and the elephant ears were in terrible condition and had to be thrown away. What bothers me the most is that the produce was visibly bad. Anyone picking or delivering this order should have noticed that these items were not fit for a customer. Common sense should have prevented this order from ever leaving the store. Now I have to spend my time requesting a refund and replacing groceries that should have arrived fresh in the first place. Very disappointing experience, and I expect a full refund for the spoiled items.
Once home, I opened the bag of oranges to find 2 were a quarter black with mold and most of the others were very green. Too much trouble to return, but I will never buy my produce at Walmart again. At least not for pick up where I can not choose them myself. What a waste of my money. You would think they train there packers to choose as if it was for themselves. VERY DISAPPOINTED!
