This is the second one of these I have bought. The first one was dedicated to being a back-yard patio sound system. Now I live in Phoenix Arizona so even though I kept it in the shade surviving that kind of heat says something. After 4 years of that abuse, it finally is showing signs of old age. So being picky of the options I wanted to have my search for it's replacement circled back to the same unit. AM/FM, CD, USB, Remote, Blue Tooth with a booming sound plus a remote is hard to find. It's a no brainer! Hopefully I'll get 10 years out of this one!
Whoever said this was a low quality product was full of baloney. It has worked like a charm since taking it out of the box. As a visually impaired user, my only wish is that the controls had synthesized voice so that I could know which button to mash turn off the lights. That's my favorite feature being able to turn off the party lights. Other than that, rocking with the new box!
Nice unit for the money. Sounds great.
this a awsum Boom Box.. Best I have ever seen.
This is the best money spent...I can play my guitar with this bad boy and don't need my Amp, it has a great sound.. the only thing I have bad to say is the EQ are preset Classic,Jazz,Rock,pop,3D,flat...this is the only Con. I have...im so happy with this..and Walmart has beat every vender hands down on price
It's an ok boom box but is no match for the discontinued JVC RV-NB70. it's ok for small gatherings and personal use.
Definitely not as good for what you paid for the sound isn't that great as it looks . Also when you play a cd it's making some strange noise through the speakers like something is penetrating through the speakers stay away from this thing I'm packing it up back in the box
Missing the remote control, was a gift, was very upset!!
Has a constant static sound when listening to cd's
First I ordered one of these from Montgomery Wards, but the mic jack would not work in CD mode when the CD was paused or stopped. So I returned it. I wanted it for teaching dance lessons to school kids in there school gyms, so needed a mic. I needed the mic to work when the CD was paused to give the next instruction. I ordered the next unit from Walmart. I had the same problem plus was also missing the remote. So I returned it and ordered one more. It had the same mic jack problem, was also missing the remote plus the part of the time while the CD was playing, the music sound would stopped working even tho' the CD was still playing. So I return the 3rd one as well. I am very disappointed because I need a unit that both plays CDs and works with a microphone.
