My Naxa is Awesome. I didn't realize it at first, but this is also a radio. I looked every where trying to find a CD/Cassette player and they're not easy to find and "affordable", even on eBay, they wanted more money for an old system than this one is NEW. There is another Nexa that cost $59.??, but this one has more functions and is cheaper. I've only had mine for a few weeks, but I love it and I hope it stays with me for years to come.Yes, I would highly recommend this Radio/Cd/cassette/recording Mini Boombox to my friends and family.
I listen to audiobooks and music all around my house and some of the older books and music are still on cassette. This combination is just right.
I had a NAXA that lasted me about 5 years thank God. this one looks and sounds great. It's a great size. I use it for my kids and it does the job.
easy to order got here ontime
Will only play strong output stations well and the speakers are 'OK' but for the money it's worth it. I bought a Sony before this for more money and the cassette player played awful.
I liked the fact it has digital tunning and now I can start enjoying my old casset music collection.
After initial function test and all worked fine . I plugged in my remote Bose speakers and they worked good also. But now the internal speakers do not work. I suspect the problem is with the receptacle, but I only need the remote's, I.m good with that.
This is a good product due to the CD & tape player (being that you can't find tape players anywhere) but, I have to give it 2 stars due to lack of volume. We use it in the classroom and it's not loud enough.
The boombox was a good size, big buttons...just what I wanted. However, the big buttons did not work...especially the ON button...the machine would not come on until the button was pushed three or four times. The screen that was to tell you what format you were using radio, CD, or cassette did not work...showed only parts of letters. I returned this merchandise.
Instructions are not well written, and very confusing. Tried to program favorite radio stations, and was unclear on the procedure. Had to call Naxa customer service, on a weekend, listened to elevator music for 20 minutes. Called the next day, and was told they are closed on the weekends. The recording doesn't mention that, only that a representative will be shortly with you.
