Couldn't find locally, so fast shipping saved me
You get plenty of paste for the price. The bottle was well sealed, so you should try to wear some sort of glove when peeling the seal off so that you don't touch the paste. Glad I could get it since (surprise) none of the local farm stores carry it and your best dehorning results come when used within a week of the calf being born! Watch plenty of videos and keep vinegar handy if you get it on yourself (acid will neutralize the base).

Works great
It is easy to use. Doesn't require any heating up, just a popsicle stick to smear it on . Also, scissors to trim the hair from around the horn bud. It smears easily and smoothly. Have had a lot of success using it.

The sooner the better, works great. Calves were a little but uncomfortable for a little bit but better than burning.

Great stuff
We have disbudded dozens of calves with this stuff. It's far better, in our opinion, than holding them down and using an iron. The paste is done when they are so young that they barely feel it. We have a bottle ready to go as soon as we're done and k
